1.Milw. Audubon Technology -- The cupboard is full of talent at Aubudon Tech as coach Fernando Williams has four starters back for who averaged in double figures last winter when the Cardinals went 14-11. Leading the way in senior wing [player_tooltip player_id='2420131' first='Daijohn' last='Hughes'] (6-3, 19.9 ppg, 9.7 rpg), the lone returning first-team all-league performer in the Blue Division. Hughes can be dominant with his scoring and rebounding, but he will receive plenty of help from senior [player_tooltip player_id='2416668' first='Isaiha' last='Washington'] (6-3, 7.9 ppg, 6.3 rpg) along with juniors [player_tooltip player_id='3021056' first='Quintyn' last='Sandlin-Robinson'] (6-0, 17.6 ppg, 4.2 rpg), [player_tooltip player_id='2140908' first='Damir' last='Ellis'] (5-7, 14.3 ppg, 2.6 rpg) and [player_tooltip player_id='2140907' first='Damari' last='Boyce'] (6-1, 12.7 ppg, 8.3 rpg). Senior [player_tooltip player_id='3021057' first='Ignacio' last='Talamantes'] (5-9, 3.4 ppg) and junior [player_tooltip player_id='2129287' first='Ryan' last='Hendricks'] (5-8, 5.3 ppg) also return for the Cardinals.

2. Golda Meir -- The Owls bring back two key performers from a 15-11 squad, but coach Emmitt Colbert might have a tough time replacing the production of graduated players Ahmir Woods (6-3, 19.1 ppg, 6.6 rpg), Ameer Anderson (6-5, 17.3 ppg, 13.4 rpg) and Brandon Gardner (6-4, 15.7 ppg). Colbert does welcome back his son, talented and ultra-athletic senior guard [player_tooltip player_id='2496089' first='Kaleb' last='Colbert'] (5-11, 17.7 ppg, 8.6 rpg). Colbert is good for a highlight dunk or so every game, but he's also solid all-around player for Golda Meir. Senior [player_tooltip player_id='2452140' first='Amir' last='Hayes'] (6-1, 13.2 ppg, 10.4 rpg) is also back for the Owls and teams with Colbert to give Golda Meir one of the top backcourt combinations in the league.

3. School of Languages -- One of the more electric backcourt prospects in Wisconsin returns for Milwaukee School of Languages, which finished 19-5 under veteran coach John Allen a year ago. Indeed, sophomore guard [player_tooltip player_id='2371441' first='Taylor' last='Williamson'] (5-8, 15.8 ppg, 3.5 rpg) is worth watching because of his skill level, his quicknes and his ability to make plays. He earned second-team all-league recognition as a freshman. Also returning for the Hawks are junior [player_tooltip player_id='3021180' first='Azavion' last='Hunt'] (6-0, 2.1 ppg) and sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='2512428' first='Jordan' last='Mitchell'] (6-1, 6.9 ppg, 4.9 rpg). Lack of size and experience beyond the three previously mentioned players are concerns for School of Languages.

4. Riverside -- Having an experienced team with five returning starters could be enough to make Milwaukee Riverside perhaps the most improved team in the Blue Division of the City Conference. Fifth-year coach Devon Preyer has four seniors and one junior who saw extensive action last winter when the Tigers finished 5-20. Seniors [player_tooltip player_id='2631632' first='Donovan' last='Hoover'] (6-4, 12.6 ppg, 5.4 rpg), [player_tooltip player_id='2957221' first='Rodmair' last='Austin-Moore'] (6-3, 10.2 ppg, 5.0 rpg), [player_tooltip player_id='2427187' first='Donavan' last='Coleman'] (6-6, 5.6 ppg, 5.0 rpg) and [player_tooltip player_id='2815772' first='Josiah' last='Raymond'] (6-0, 9.4 ppg, 4.0 rpg, 3.2 apg) along with junior Jonathan Johnson (5-9, 9.3 ppg, 3.5 apg) provide a very strong nucleus for Riverside.

5. Reagan -- The building project at Milwaukee Reagan continues for coach Joshua Gee, who begins his second season with two starters and five reserves back from an 8-18 team. Senior guard [player_tooltip player_id='1561952' first='Isaac' last='Schimenz'] (5-10, 13.9 ppg, 1.4 rpg), one of the league's better shooters, is back for his final prep campaign while junior guard [player_tooltip player_id='2832126' first='Amir' last='Ward'] (6-0, 5.1 ppg, 1.4 rpg) joins him in the Huskies' backcourt. Senior [player_tooltip player_id='1874968' first='Dewayne' last='Gaynor'] (6-0) along with juniors [player_tooltip player_id='2417518' first='De'Myen' last='Dixon'] (6-1, 5.7 ppg, 2.9 rpg), [player_tooltip player_id='2388278' first='Cam' last='Kleinfeldt'] (6-5, 3.8 ppg, 3.4 rpg), Amari Ward (6-0, 2.7 ppg) and [player_tooltip player_id='3021171' first='Roberto' last='Celis'] (6-5) also return for a team that has plenty of depth and some talented newcomers.

6. Washington -- Coach Von McDade has one of the better backcourt player in the league back in senior [player_tooltip player_id='3021200' first='Rudy' last='Baker'], (5-10, 19.6 ppg), but he lost the other four starters from a 15-6 squad to graduation. Milwaukee Washington won the White Division title of the Milwaukee City Conference a year ago, but moves to the tougher Blue Division this time around. Baker and senior guard [player_tooltip player_id='3021202' first='Terry' last='Baker'] (5-11, 6.6 ppg) are the top returning players for the Purgolders.

7. Marshall -- Guard play and quickness are strengths for the Eagles of Milwaukee Marshall. Lack of size and overall scoring punch might be concerns for coach Draelon Burns. Experience is another asset as key returning players for the Eagles include senior Billyen Hall (5-9), juniors [player_tooltip player_id='3021145' first='Jokell' last='Lipsey'] (5-9) and [player_tooltip player_id='3021150' first='Giovonni' last='Spicer'] (6-0), and sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='3021146' first='Rashad' last='Smith'] (5-6). Size comes in the form of sophomore LaHarold Washington (6-2), junior [player_tooltip player_id='3021148' first='Jalone' last='Woods'] (6-1) and senior [player_tooltip player_id='3021147' first='Davion' last='Williams'] (6-0). Look for freshman [player_tooltip player_id='2979501' first='Ali' last='Ali'] (5-9) to potentially make an impact in Marshall's backcourt.

Top Returning Scorers

[player_tooltip player_id='2420131' first='Daijohn' last='Hughes'] (Audubon Tech) 19.9 ppg
[player_tooltip player_id='3021200' first='Rudy' last='Baker'] (Washington) 19.6 ppg
[player_tooltip player_id='2496089' first='Kaleb' last='Colbert'] (Golda Meir) 17.7 ppg
[player_tooltip player_id='3021056' first='Quintyn' last='Sandlin-Robinson'] (Audubon Tech) 17.6 ppg
[player_tooltip player_id='2371441' first='Taylor' last='Williamson'] (School of Languages) 15.8 ppg
[player_tooltip player_id='2140908' first='Damir' last='Ellis'] (Auburon Tech) 14.3 ppg
[player_tooltip player_id='1561952' first='Isaac' last='Schimenz'] (Reagan) 13.9 ppg
[player_tooltip player_id='2452140' first='Amir' last='Hayes'] (Golda Meir) 13.2 ppg
[player_tooltip player_id='2140907' first='Damari' last='Boyce'] (Audubon Tech) 12.7 ppg
[player_tooltip player_id='2631632' first='Donovan' last='Hoover'] (Riverside) 12.6 ppg
[player_tooltip player_id='2957221' first='Rodmair' last='Austin-Moore'] (Riverside) 10.6 ppg

Projected All-Conference Teams
First Team

[player_tooltip player_id='2420131' first='Daijohn' last='Hughes'], 6-3, Sr., Audubon Technology
[player_tooltip player_id='2496089' first='Kaleb' last='Colbert'], Sr., Golda Meir
[player_tooltip player_id='2371441' first='Taylor' last='Williamson'], Soph., School of Languages
[player_tooltip player_id='2140907' first='Damari' last='Boyce'], 6-1, Jr., Audubon Technology
[player_tooltip player_id='2631632' first='Donovan' last='Hoover'], 6-4, Sr., Riverside

Second Team
[player_tooltip player_id='2957221' first='Rodmair' last='Austin-Moore'], 6-3, Sr., Riverside
[player_tooltip player_id='2812685' first='Rudy' last='Baker'], 5-10, Sr., Washington
[player_tooltip player_id='2452140' first='Amir' last='Hayes'], 6-1, Sr., Golda Meir
[player_tooltip player_id='1561952' first='Isaac' last='Schimenz'], 5-10, Sr., Reagan
[player_tooltip player_id='2512428' first='Jordan' last='Mitchell'], 6-1, Soph., School of Languages

The Big Five

Best Shooter: [player_tooltip player_id='1561952' first='Isaac' last='Schimenz'], Reagan
Best Defender: [player_tooltip player_id='2371441' first='Taylor' last='Williamson'], School of Languages
Best Rebounder: [player_tooltip player_id='2452140' first='Amir' last='Hayes'], Golda Meir
Best Collegiate Prospect: [player_tooltip player_id='2496089' first='Kaleb' last='Colbert'], Golda Meir
Most Improved: [player_tooltip player_id='2388278' first='Cam' last='Kleinfeldt'], Reagan
