It's the season to be thankful so I'm the process of showing a few of the many athletes here in Michigan that I'm thankful for. Hopefully this shows some of the many, how appreciative I am for the opportunity to scout their games and cover their achievements. Here are 5 juniors that I'm thankful for!

Check out "Seniors That I'm Thankful For" below!

https://prephoops.com/2025/11/seniors-that-im-thankful-for/

I'm thankful for really talented multi sport athletes and Thornton fits that bill. He's a strong and physical post defender that will put a body on his opponent. Thornton rebounds high and with 2 hands. On an offensive board, he keeps it high and can go right back up with it.

I'm thankful that I got to see Richards hoop this summer. Scouts and coaches, if you haven't seen him in person, please do. The young man can flat out hoop. Richards is a playmaker with the ball in his hands. He showed me one of the best shot fakes in the state this summer.

Hunter, I haven't forgot about you. From what I hear, a good point guard is well on his way to being great. Coaches at the next level will want to take in a St. Johns game this season. Kinkema is a disciplined and high IQ guard.

I was able to see Worthington a couple times this summer and I was glad I did. I'd describe what I saw as a 'tough guard'. He can play through contact and can play bigger than his height. Worthington is a multi level scorer and plays intelligently unselfish basketball.

I'm thankful that I've had the chance to see Merlington improve his game. He has a lot of skills that he can build on. Merlington can make the mid range a big time asset. He can work off the high post and hit a jumper or use a 2 dribble power move.

It's the season to be thankful so I'm the process of showing a few of the many athletes here in Michigan that I'm thankful for.
