About Clark: Clark was fantastic as a junior for the Chiefs, helping lead them to a 3A substate final before falling to Knoxville. He had initially announced that he was going to head down to Florida to play his senior year at national powerhouse Montverde Academy, but after spending a month or two down there, he announced that he is back in Iowa for his final go-around. A dominant two-way big man with soft hands, a huge frame, and fantastic footwork, he's a throwback big man who can dominate teams on the block as both a scorer and passer. He's not just a low-post option, however, showing a smooth stroke out to the 3-point line throughout his career, with range that needs to be respected. Tons of Division I programs have either offered or are closely monitoring him.

Why he can win Mr. Basketball: A big man with the ability to dominate the game on both ends of the floor, Clark has a chance to put up truly massive numbers as a senior. As outlandish as it sounds, I wouldn't be shocked to see him putting up close to 30 points and 20 rebounds this year, and if he comes remotely close to those numbers, he's going to garner some real consideration, no matter how much success the Chiefs have. And if he's able to lead them on a postseason run in 3A, we'll have a real threat for the award.
