High School Spotlight: Tri-West Bruins

The season is still a few weeks away, but it is never too early to look ahead at the high school season. We will be taking a look at some quick hitters, the top player(s), a potential breakout player, other roster members, and more for the upcoming season. He is&nbsp;18-7<strong>&nbsp;</strong>as a head coach.</li> <!-- /wp:list-item --></ul> <!-- /wp:list --> <!-- wp:list --> <ul class="wp-block-list"><!-- wp:list-item --> <li>A sleeper team in Class 3A. </li> <!-- /wp:list-item --></ul> <!-- /wp:list --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Top Player: [player_tooltip player_id='2414736' first='Ryan' last='Miller']<a href="https://prephoops.com/player/jahari-miller/"></a></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>One of the more underrated teams to watch in Class 3A this season is the Tri-West Bruins, who return a strong core loaded with talent across the board. Leading the way once again is&nbsp;2027 point guard [player_tooltip player_id='2414736' first='Ryan' last='Miller'], who paced the Bruins last season with 13.5 points and 3.1 assists per game. Miller is one of the most skilled guards in Class 3A, possessing a longer frame and excellent feel for the game. A confident playmaker, he displays terrific court vision, control, and scoring ability — making him a key piece in Tri-West's push for a deep run this season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Potential Breakout Player: [player_tooltip player_id='2538906' first='Daniel' last='Thomas']<a href="https://prephoops.com/player/chace-ford/"></a></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>There may not be a team in the state with a better trio of 2028 prospects than Tri-West, and honestly, all three could have been mentioned here. However, point guard [player_tooltip player_id='2538906' first='Daniel' last='Thomas'] gets the nod. The 5'10" guard returns after averaging 9.1 points and 2.4 rebounds per game, bringing with him a wealth of valuable varsity experience. A highly athletic and explosive playmaker, Thomas is one of the toughest players to stop off the dribble, consistently finding ways to attack the lane and finish at the rim.
