The three day event included the following teams: Canyon Del Oro, Catalina Foothills, Corona Del Sol, Flowing Wells, Maricopa, Mountain View, Palo Verde, Rio Rico, Sabino, Sahuaro, Sunnyside, and Tanque Verde. His physical defensive play proves time and time again to be too much for opposing guards. One of the better full court on ball defenders at the Invitational. Came up with key steals and forced many turnovers. On the offensive end he gets a lot of paint touches and makes smart plays in traffic. Strong passer and and finishes strong through contact for the and one. The lengthy wing can just about do it all. He advanced the ball many times in the game. Played well in transition. An aggressive rebounder and skilled shot blockers. A player that can score at all three levels. Anumba great ability to see the floor and make the right reads. Llamas led the Cougars to an undefeated showing at the Dick McConnell Classic. He was unstoppable in the championship game dropping 37 points on 9/17 shooting from the perimeter. His defensive game is just as dangerous as he came close to double digit steals and forced many turnovers. Shot blocker. Has a very smooth shot elevates high for it. Shoots quick and smooth from the corner three off the catch. Really nice form shooting the ball. High IQ defender with great footwork to go along with it. Will sit and read passes then pick them off. His athleticism allows him to rebound well. Teasley was active on both sides of the ball and created a big impact for the Cougars. Continues to show he is one of the top shooters off the catch in the 2028 class. Plays with passion and plays effectively. I stated early in the off-season that Teasley would be crucial to the success of the Cougars this season and so far he's playing like it.
