With Chanhassen graduating a lot of last year's scoring, Kolby looks like a player on the verge of breaking out. He came into high school as a roughly 5'10 guard, but has since shot up to 6'5 with explosive athleticism on the wing. He helped lead his team to a win over Anoka, showcasing above the rim finishing ability, a quick spin move off the drive, and range beyond the arc. Size had a hard time moving with him on the perimeter, but smaller players weren't able to get a good contest on him when he got to the rim. He averaged 7 ppg last season but looks ready to take a big step forward.

After missing an extended period of time injured, Isaac made his return to the hardwood with Wayzata over the weekend. Despite shaking off some rust, Isaac put in a strong performance against a loaded Maple Grove team. He showed quick decision making on the ball, always seeming to know exactly where to swing it to. He's a catalyst for Wayzata's ball movement in the half-court, and helped them create a lot of quality looks offensively. Isaac showed his quick release from beyond the arc, and made some good plays in the open floor as well.

Hamze took over in the second half for Eden Prairie in an exciting matchup against Osseo. In a game that featured multiple high level guards, it was Hamze who stole the show with a 22 point second half. He's lightning quick with the ball in his hands, and was able to catch the defense sleeping on multiple occasions to get to the basket and finish. Sag off of him and he can make you pay from three as well. Last year it was Max Lorenson putting up big scoring numbers for Eden Prairie, and we could see Hamze do something similar this year as a senior.

The ceiling is sky high for this 2027 forward out of Minnehaha Academy. Kellen is as long as they come at 6'7-6'8, with a budding skillset to match. On one occasion Kellen brought the ball up the length of the floor, and got to his spot for a pull-up jumper over the top of one of the best defenders in the state. That ability to handle the ball at his size sets him apart from other frontcourt players, and he has fluid athleticism to match. Defensively Kellen was able to move his feet out on the perimeter, while also altering/blocking shots around the rim at a high level.

If East Ridge wants to compete with the best in Class AAAA, Aidan's emergence could be key for them. With [player_tooltip player_id='1560882' first='Cedric' last='Tomes'] sitting out over the weekend, Aidan emerged as his team's main scoring option. He's a long and lanky wing with deep shooting range. Aidan did a nice job of quickly getting his feet set to catch and shoot off the move, and was connecting at a high percentage throughout the game against Rochester Mayo. Also hit the game winning shot in sudden death overtime.

[player_tooltip player_id='2416947' first='Ayden' last='Green'] makes the move over to Minnehaha Academy where he'll look to make them legit contenders in Class AA. Though one of the smallest players on the floor, Ayden was fearless getting to the rim and finishing. Even against a St. Paul Johnson team that is known for pressuring the ball hard, Ayden remained calm and found ways to get his team a numbers advantage moving forward. This game went down to the wire, and it was Ayden who came up big down the stretch, hitting the game winning shot with just seconds remaining.

Don't let his size fool you, this sophomore out of Breck can play. The lefty guard was calm under pressure against Chaska, and made smart decisions with the ball in his hands. He knew when to keep it swinging, made good reads in transition, and knocked down a good percentage of his three point attempts. Showed nice touch with a floater in the lane to score over size. Defensively he always seemed to be in the right place at the right time, coming up with a couple of steals and also stepping in to draw a charge.
