2027 Group 1 Guard Prospects to Watch

The 2027 class is primed to make a big impact on the hardwood, especially in the back court. The 6'0 guard has a tight handle, which he uses to blow by his defender and finishes nicely around the rim. Wilson can also score in the mid-range and he can knock down open jumpers from behind the arc. He threads passes to his open teammates and uses his quick hands to get deflections on the defensive end. The 6'1 guard has a clean release on his jumper and can get hot from distance in a hurry. Colon is more than just a shooter as he can also get into the paint off the bounce and has a nice touch in the mid-range. He is an underrated passer and works hard on the defensive end. The 6'2 guard has a smooth shooting stroke and can knock down triples in bunches. Williams moves well without the ball in his hands, freeing himself for open jumpers and layups in the half court. He rarely forces jumpers in the half court and has the length to defend both back court spots.
