May is finally here, meaning the spring AAU season is in full swing. The 2028 class is primed to have a strong spring, especially in the front court. Here are the GMC 2028 front court prospects who could have a big May.

[player_tooltip player_id='2909264' first='Joel' last='Patrick'], 6'10 PF/C St. Joe's Metuchen

Patrick is one of the top post prospects in the class and should show why this month. The 6'10 post plays with a nonstop motor and runs the floor hard to give himself opportunities on the offensive end. Patrick skies for rebounds on both ends of the floor and swats almost everything around the rim. He uses his frame to get position in the post and can draw contact in the paint. Patrick is an elite rim-protector, which will help his recruitment uptick over the next couple of weeks.

[player_tooltip player_id='2763632' first='Zymere' last='Weaver'], 6'4 SF St. Thomas Aquinas

Weaver stars on the gridiron, but that won't stop him from making an impact on the hardwood. The 6'4 wing attacks the basket with a purpose as he finishes strong around the rim and doesn't mind contact. Weaver is more than just a slasher as he has a nice release on his jumper and makes opponents pay for giving him space behind the arc. He has the length to defend multiple positions on the floor and is a solid rebounder. Weaver is a physical forward prospect whose ability to defend the wing and score in the half court will help his stock in a big way.

[player_tooltip player_id='2788586' first='Andrew' last='Bena'], 6'3 PF/SF South Plainfield

Bena can play either forward position and should put it on display this spring. The 6'3 forward uses his strong frame to get position down low and can also finish through contact. Bena has a solid face-up game as he can get to the rim from the perimeter. He is a force on the boards and holds his ground on the defensive end. Bena is a double-double machine who should control the boards this May.

[player_tooltip player_id='2958183' first='Marcel' last='Carr'], 6'5 SF St. Joe's Metuchen

Carr should get the ball in his hands more this spring, which will help his game in a big way. The 6'5 wing attacks the basket with a purpose as he finishes strong around the rim and can also score in the mid-range. Carr uses his size to see over his defender and sets his feet before he shoots. He uses his length to make an impact on the defensive end and is an underrated rebounder. Carr's ability to impact the game at both ends of the floor is something that will help his stock over the next couple of weeks.

[player_tooltip player_id='2763634' first='Triston' last='Harvey'], 6'4 SF/PF East Brunswick

Harvey has the ability to play either forward position and should put it on display during the course of May. The 6'4 forward has a good face-up game, which he uses to get to the rim, and his range extends out to the three-point line. Harvey moves well without the ball in his hands, freeing himself for open layups and jumpers in the half court. He gets deflections on the defensive end and works hard on the glass. Harvey is a hard-working forward prospect who should rip down rebounds and finish through contact in the paint will help his game over the next couple of weeks.
