Coming off a 19 win season last year, a mark that hadn't been bested since the 2016-2017 season, the Trojans under Coach Brian Schoonover entering his fifth season as the top guy of his alma mater, has a talented senior class returning that features three starters that were All-Conference performers that are looking to lead the Trojans program to its first sectional title in nine years. Here is what I saw on Thursday night of the 2025-2026 Wood Memorial Trojans:   KEY RETURNERS:    The Trojans leading scorer returns after earning All-Conference honors, Houston has a chance to have a huge senior season. The 6'2” athletic shooting guard is one of the more gifted scorers in the area. Smooth stroke with deep range on the perimeter is the highlight of his game, but he has continued to show improvement off the dribble and getting to his midrange game. Noticeably quicker and more athletic, he's gaining more confidence in getting downhill and finishing at the rim with either hand. He's a high IQ guard that plays in balance and knows how to use his body to his advantage. Averaged 18 points per game last season, and will almost certainly top that in his senior campaign.     The second player returning for the Trojans who was named All-conference last season is a versatile and athletic forward that has a knack for putting the ball in the basket. [player_tooltip player_id='2625556' first='Parker' last='Conder'] has an unorthodox game to him but he just knows how to get it done. Inside-out presence on the offensive end. Capable three-point that can get hot, but off the dribble he has a slipperiness to his game where he can get to his spot and finish in a variety of different ways. Since I last saw him in June, he has gotten more athletic which opens up even more to his game. He's a quick jumper that has helped him become a terrific rebounder and his growing athleticism has made him more aggressive when attacking the basket, he is looking to finish above the rim.     The third returning Trojans starter named to All-Conference honors is a 6'0” lightning quick point guard that runs the show for the team. Chad is a dynamic floor general that really balances scoring and facilitating. High IQ guard that understands changing speed to get to his spot and finishes in a variety of different ways. He does a really good job using his body to play through contact and stays on balance to finish plays. He's becoming a more consistent three-point shooter. He has a clean stroke and is comfortable shooting both off the catch and off the dribble. Defensively he's the head of the snake that plays with active hands and utilizes his speed looking to turn defense into offense in a hurry.     Senior guard with a strong frame that does a lot of different things on the floor to help his team win. Not going to be relied on to score, but he's a high IQ player that plays under control and has the ability to hit open shots. Defensively he's a high motor versatile guard that plays physical and without fouling.     Versatile defensive minded wing with a wirey frame that plays extremely hard on both ends of the floor. Knows his role and plays it well. Has the ability to guard multiple positions and rebounds it well. Showed he can rip and run off the defensive glass and make good decisions.     Solid guard that plays with a high motor. Attacks the offensive glass hard. The junior guard isn't relied on to score, but plays his role well and is a good ball mover and screen setter. Switchable defender that communicates well.    KEY ADDITION:    Depth piece that will most likely split time between the JV and Varsity this season. Lengthy wing that shot the ball with confidence during live drills. Showed a quick release and an understanding on how to get open. Has the potential to be a good team defender with his length and athleticism. Loved the way he communicated on both ends of the floor.    UNABLE TO ATTEND:   • Jaylen Robinson - 6'0” 2028 Guard
