Vype Boys Showcase Tone Setters and Impact Players

Several teams have made their mark on scouts, media, and coaches by racking up impressive wins in the preseason this year. Saturday was no different as teams built more chemistry with each other and competed in several high intensity matchups. Richardson is one of the best full court defenders I have seen all summer, and he does not take any days off when being on ball. Elton can create his own shot off the dribble and can also function as a secondary ballhandler for the Tigers when they need an extra playmaker. Despite the end result being a tie, Brewer got key buckets and several and-one finishes down the stretch to help Langham Creek maintain momentum in the closing minutes of the game. Jack is a great source of hustle and energy on both ends and helped with his aggressive play in the paint and hustle play on the perimeter. Alonzo is capable of scoring from all three levels and played key on ball defense during the full court press. He is effective in transition, filling his lane correctly and scoring key buckets down the stretch.
