Beyond the known quantities and underclassmen who flashed, a number of sleepers did their thing this past weekend. Here are a few of note:

[player_tooltip player_id='2375226' first='Kaisan' last='Bacon'] | 6'0 G 2027 Milford

Bacon showed he can play different styles across two games on Sunday. On one hand, he orchestrated the offense by getting his bigs involved and sprayed the ball around to his shooters. On the other, he created for himself by getting to the cup off-the-bounce.

[player_tooltip player_id='2759062' first='Zi'Yon' last='Henderson-Conkey'] | 6'2 G/W 2027 Howard

Henderson-Conkey played without the ball and made shots as the Wildcats split their two games. Often lacking a size advantage, he played bigger than his listed height by leaping over others and bringing energy to his team on both ends. That enabled him to finish through contact and to out-rebound everyone.

Ari Jograj | 6'5 F 2027 Friends Central

Far from the tallest forward on the floor, Jograj was effective because he embraced doing the dirty work. He cashed in a three, but most of his production came inside the arc. Ideally a weak-side rim protector in college, Jograj cleaned the glass, rejected multiple shots, and altered several more.

[player_tooltip player_id='2565811' first='Isaiah' last='Ngugi'] | 6'4 F 2026 Middletown

A high-motor forward, Ngugi got active inside the arc on offense and defense. His putbacks and blocks gave his team a boost when points were at a premium and when they needed a stop. He also had one of the highlights of the weekend when he rolled to the rim and put someone on a poster.

[player_tooltip player_id='2770688' first='William' last='Warfield'] | 6'0 G 2026 Odessa

After hitting a three early, Warfield had to scrap in order to help the Ducks pull out the win. He pressured the ball and forced several turnovers in the process. All the while, Warfield slashed to the basket, got to the free throw line and converted those opportunities as he led the team in scoring.

[player_tooltip player_id='2611922' first='Michael' last='Wright'] | 5'11 G 2027 Concord

During Sunday's opening game, the defense tried to slow the Raiders down with a 2-3 zone, but that only gave Wright the chance to shoot in rhythm. He hit three spot-up threes and got to the second level off-the-catch for a middy. He also came away with 7 rebounds and 2 steals.
