TFC Fall Frenzy: Sunday’s Top Contributors Greater Houston

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I got a chance to attend the Texas Future Circuit's Fall Frenzy showcase on Sunday and took the time to watch some talented teams have competitive matchups on the court. Several high school varsity players got the chance to display their skills in front of fans and media alike, as well as gain some chemistry with their squads before the season starts coming up quickly. He proved that he could beat opponents off catch and shoot attempts, but he is just as adept at creating his own looks from deep. Jax also knows how to toughen up on defense as he pressured several opposing ballhandlers into turnovers and was a good break starter for New Wave Academy as well. He drove to the rim and finished tough layups, helped out with ballhandling responsibilities against full court press, and was a key defender both on the perimeter and in the paint. Nelson was really good at finding teammates in open spots and many times, was one of the more unselfish players on the court. He never settled for tough looks at the basket, and he also showed that he can run either guard slot for Washington as the Eagles were smart with the basketball. Pete can shoot over defenders by creating his own shot off the dribble or get tough looks in the paint to go by way of putbacks or getting to the foul stripe. Bush knows how to crash the boards on both ends and take advantage of second chance opportunities for points on putbacks and defensive rebounds. Darrell is good at running and finishing in transition as well, helping the Panthers keep momentum on their side during a critical stretch of the game. I was first able to watch Bush this summer with CME Elite, and he impressed me due to his style of basketball and he continues to have my attention playing this year with CE King. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
