We give you another twenty names that you should know about entering the 2025-26 season from Section 6A.

Ada-Borup

[player_tooltip player_id='2983036' first='Anders' last='Tinjum'] (2026). A 6'4 wing that scored 11 points a game last season earning all league honors on a good team. Tinjum is good moving off the ball and an improved one on one scorer that is also a very good defender. He's played some different roles and is ready for the main go to guy role.

Brody Menge (2026). Menge is an athletic 6'2 player that gets off the ground well to finish, board and contest, plus Brody is the top returning scorer for his team at seven/eight points a contest.

Ashby

Traeton Nelson (2027). Nelson was the go to guy for his team last season and with so much coming back, Nelson has the chance to be a 20 point per guy on a solid to good team. Nelson scored 18 points per game last season along with five boards a contest.

Benson

[player_tooltip player_id='2524777' first='Lanadreon' last='Goodwin'] (2027, Minnesota Gold). A 6'6/6'7 long armed player that can move all around the block to catch and score. Goodwin has a ton of fakes, he's really good with the pivot and he has shown to have a set of counters or second moves that have helped him score as well. The length to extend to finish and Goodwin will battle physically too. That length makes him a good defender as does his agility both in covering ground in help, and good lateral agility. Scored 20 points a game last year.

[player_tooltip player_id='2841061' first='Harold' last='Habben'] (2026). Habben and Goodwin make one of the better Frontline pairs in Class A basketball. The 6'7 low post Habben scored nearly 17 points per game last year as a junior.

Border West

Tayton Schmidt (2027). Schmidt is an athletic big man that gets up and down the floor really well. A good rebounder who also defends tough as a 6'5 senior post. Taylor averaged 10 points and 12.5 rebounds per contest.

[player_tooltip player_id='2842330' first='Samuel' last='Rinke'] (2028). A freshman who got on the floor early last year because of his tenacious effort as a ball pressure defender, active defender to the right spot, and an attacking creator. Was mostly a creator but next year will do more of the scoring.

BBE

Taylor Pieper (2026). All league combo guard at six feet who scored 13 points per game. A very good spot up shooter that is a smart passer and the top defender on his team as well.

Brandon-Evansville

Bryce Froemming (2026). Bryce got off to a scorching start last year putting up 14 points a game with lights out shooting. He got hurt a couple weeks into the year but the 6'2 guard will be back and ready to play this winter.

Colton Breitkreutz (2026). Colton is a 6'3 low post hard working tough guy that takes on the paint battles and often wins despite being shorter (but stronger). Averaged nine points and seven boards a game last season.

Frazee

[player_tooltip player_id='2124227' first='Adam' last='Vigen'] (2026). All conference 6'2 guard that scored 14 points a game with a 6.5 rebound per game average along with 4.5 assists a game. A high IQ player that makes the right pass each possession plus Adam is a good defender.

Henning

[player_tooltip player_id='1560827' first='Kale' last='Misegades'] (2026, [program_tooltip program_id='2888391' first='Minnesota' last='Comets']). Kale is a Mr. Basketball candidate that is committed to Southwest Minnesota State and ranks among the best guards in the state. Henning losses a lot of their line-up from last year so Kale will have to do a lot for his team but if there was a player in Class A basketball that is capable of leading, scoring, creating and leading his team to wins shouldering a huge load, it's Kale.

Ryan Despard (2026). Ryan is the only other player that has much varsity experience as he came off the bench last year and scored a couple times a game. Shots it solid and is a good passer.

Hillcrest Lutheran Academy

Sean Berge (2026). Sean was an all conference HM honored 6'2 wing that will step into a bigger scoring role this winter for a team that won 21 games last season.

Ethan Swedberg (2026). Ethan scored in double figures last year on average and will be the top scoring threat for his team. Standnig 6'4 at forward, Ethan was honored as an all league player.

Park Christian

[player_tooltip player_id='1415930' first='Isaac' last='Jacobson'] (2026). First team all league talent that averaged 17 plus points per game as a 6'3 wing. A really good athlete in the open floor that hit 1K for his career last year and is on his way to 1.5k plus. A really good three point shooter that takes the right shots and is a good team player.

Gavin Giese (2026). Gavin scored 13 points a game for one of the best teams in Class A basketball a season ago as he is one of the best athletes in the section. A really tough player to defend because Gavin has a good first step that is also physical, and he is really a threat off the ball with cuts and follow ups.

Pelican Rapids

[player_tooltip player_id='2851170' first='Jack' last='Welch'] (2026, [program_tooltip program_id='2076005' first='West' last='Central Wildcats']). Jack is a preseason All State first team player in Class A and he is committed to Concordia-St. Paul at the D2 level. Led his team to the state tournament last year growing rapidly last season from a starter that was a role player to a go to double double guy. He then had a great 17u season and has big expectations this winter.

[player_tooltip player_id='2495108' first='Miguel' last='Torres'] (2026, [program_tooltip program_id='2888391' first='Minnesota' last='Comets'] Peter Meier). An all league guard at 6'3 that led his team to state at 13.6 points per contest with four rebounds and 3.5 assists a game. Led the team in scoring last year at nearly 14 points per game with a good three point shooting percentage.

West Central Area

[player_tooltip player_id='2841057' first='Marshall' last='Dewey'] (2026). A 6'4 frontcourt or backcourt player that averaged 12.5 points and six rebounds a game last year for a top ten level teams. Earned all conference honors playing in several spots because of his versatile game.
