[player_tooltip player_id='2204895' first='Victor' last='Ward'] imposed his will on every area of the game at the Prep Hoops Iowa Expo. Victor's ball handling stood out amongst his peers. He had the ball on a string and had no issue attacking the rim with his speed and physicality. Contests at the rim didn't seem to bother him, and he was elite at embracing contact from defenders in the paint. Victor also showcased his patience and finesse around the rim. He was great at using pump fakes to open more advantageous angles for himself around the rim. He presented a tough mid-range pull-up as well, and this shot proved to be even deadlier with defenders being forced to respect his downhill threat. Everything that I have spoken about so far contributed to his passing ability as well. And on the other end, Victor was just as impactful. He was great at anticipating moves from opponents and ripping them with his quick hands. Rebounding was another bright spot for him on the floor, showing his hustle. So overall, at the [program_tooltip program_id='2075572' first='Iowa' last='Prep'] Hoops Expo, [player_tooltip player_id='2204895' first='Victor' last='Ward'] displayed his elite versatility at the guard position.

[player_tooltip player_id='2420805' first='Dylan' last='Schon'] had an all-around impactful performance at the [program_tooltip program_id='2075572' first='Iowa' last='Prep'] Hoops Expo. For starters, no one could keep Dylan out of the paint. He was relentlessly driving downhill, drawing contact, and finishing tough looks throughout the entire showcase. He was elite at drawing fouls in every contest due to his constant rim pressure. He proved to be a mismatch as well. As he was too big for guards to stop and too fast for forwards to stay in front of. His propensity to get to the cup created copious advantages for his team. He was excellent at making the correct reads and finding his teammates on the perimeter for set shots. And overall, showed a great talent for finding open looks for others off of his drives. Dylan was impactful defensively as well. He showed himself to be a very smart defender who doesn't bite at pump fakes. And showcased his shot blocking ability in spades.

[player_tooltip player_id='2970379' first='Royale' last='Newell'] was one of the most promising young talents I saw play at this event. He was extremely fast and aggressive when it came to getting to the rim. And once he got there, he could hit layups with either hand or go to his patented floater. Defenders couldn't back off from him either. As he was lighting it up from downtown off the bounce. As a defender, you could never go under his screens at this event. He proved to be very hard to slow down from outside the arc. Passing was another area where Royale excelled. He was great at throwing passes over his head and finding his teammates; no matter how tough the angle, he still got the ball in their shooting pockets. He showed great on-ball defense as well. He constantly attacked opposing ball handlers and came up with steals routinely. It is only the beginning for [player_tooltip player_id='2970379' first='Royale' last='Newell']. Keep an eye on him.

[player_tooltip player_id='2419855' first='Brayden' last='Tanny'] was a force of nature at the [program_tooltip program_id='2075572' first='Iowa' last='Prep'] Hoops Expo. Brayden was unstoppable around the rim at this event. He was elite at getting downhill and manufacturing paint touches for himself on his drives. And once he got to the paint, he showed a great ability to power through contact for strong finishes. As a shooter, he was great both off the catch and off the dribble. And his shooting threat created many hard closeouts from defenders, aiding his driving game. On defense, he showed many flashes as well. He was very active and got into passing lanes many times for steals.

[player_tooltip player_id='2382569' first='Landon' last='Campe'] was elite throughout the [program_tooltip program_id='2075572' first='Iowa' last='Prep'] Hoops Expo. Landon was great at driving to the cup. He finished very strongly at the rim and did not shy away from contact. He was the definition of a strong finisher and used his body to absorb contact at the rim and finish tough layups. Off the catch, he showed an elite ability to make defenses pay. If he was given any room out on the perimeter, the shot was going in. His shooting threat opened up many lanes for himself. He was elite at attacking closeouts and creating advantages.

[player_tooltip player_id='2978311' first='Tresaun' last='Parker'] looked like a man among boys at the [program_tooltip program_id='2075572' first='Iowa' last='Prep'] Hoops Expo. He was elite at using his large frame in many aspects of the game. When attacking downhill, his strength proved extremely difficult for opponents to handle. He was great at carving out space for himself around the rim. This, coupled with his speed, made him a human wrecking ball that shoved through defenses with no mercy. He was also great at using his body to open up bump fades for himself in the midrange. All these skills put together made him a foul drawing machine at this event.

Where he would flash his soft touch around the rim. The reason he got so many hard close-outs at this event was his elite shooting ability. Off the catch, he was the perfect floor spacer.
