made plays everywhere in this game. On defense, he was an absolute menace. He guarded on the perimeter with intensity and was always engaged, ripping at opposing ball handlers and not allowing penetration. He showcased very active hands and always played with a high level of energy. He got many steals in this game for these reasons. He intercepted many passes in the passing lanes and ran them to the other side of the court for easy layups, and stole opponents’ dribbles, wreaking havoc throughout this game. Victor was great on the other end of the floor as well. He showcased a nice jumper from distance that he used to hit from deep range. He also displayed an ability to finish off two feet and stay balanced through contact. He was very disciplined and patient around the rim, always waiting and probing for better angles and then going up and finishing around contesting defenders with his soft touch. Victor was the primary initiator for his offense and was great at keeping the ball moving as well. He was great at reading offensive actions and making quick reads leading to open shots for his team. imposed his will on every area of the game at the Prep Hoops Iowa Expo. Victor’s ball handling stood out amongst his peers. He had the ball on a string and had no issue attacking the rim with his speed and physicality. Contests at the rim didn’t seem to bother him, and he was elite at embracing contact from defenders in the paint. Victor also showcased his patience and finesse around the rim. He was great at using pump fakes to open more advantageous angles for himself around the rim. He presented a tough mid-range pull-up as well, and this shot proved to be even deadlier with defenders being forced to respect his downhill threat. Everything that I have spoken about so far contributed to his passing ability as well. And on the other end, Victor was just as impactful. He was great at anticipating moves from opponents and ripping them with his quick hands. Rebounding was another bright spot for him on the floor, showing his hustle. So overall, at the Iowa Prep

displayed his elite versatility at the guard position.
A quick guard who handles it well and knows how to get to his spots off the dribble, Ward will be one of the more impactful lead guards in the gym on Saturday. He’s especially good in the mid-range, looking to get into the teeth of the defense and either score or find an open teammate. He had a solid junior year for the Comets, averaging 12.6 points and 3.4 assists per game.
