In all honesty, this is one oft he most surprising inclusions on this list, as last season Villagomez went just 1-3 from behind the arc for Charles City. He looked like a much more confident shooter than that throughout the afternoon on Saturday, burying shots off both the dribble and the catch routinely. He’s really comfortable shooting 3s above the break, showing solid form and getting good rotation on his shot. His confidence seemed to grow with each passing possession, and he’ll be looking to carry that into his senior year with the Comets.

A strong wing who can finish through contact at the rim, Villagomez impressed with his motor on both ends of the floor. He battled against bigger bodies in the paint defensively, held his own against quicker players on the perimeter, and looked to contribute on the glass on both ends of the floor.
