Prep Hoops Expo Georgia: Team 5 Evaluation

They all had one common goal in mind, display their talent before the high school season kicks off. Team 5 bought the ball movement, the fade away jump shots and top-notch play. He has all the intangibles of being a true point guard. Hustles to every loose ball and sees the floor well. A player that can score on demand but would rather make the one more pass to his open teammate. A player who knows time to score. He pushes the ball well in transition and knows how apply pressure on the defense with his ability to quickly get downhill. Nice mid-range jump shot and floater. When his team needs a turnover, he applied the pressure in the open court which led to easy scoring opportunities. Quick hands and footwork which allows him to pressure his opponents. A player that plays with pace and has the ability to stop on dime and hit the pull up. He also can hit you with a quick step back or turnaround jumper. A true definition of being able to score from anywhere. Luster went on a 10-0 scoring brigade that bought his team back from down 16 points. He started Game 1 going 4-4 from behind the arc and finished with 5 triples in Game 1. Quick release and movement off ball which allows him to get his shot off quickly. A player that works on both ends of the floor.
