The Catholic school league on the Island ,I really believe is one of the best leagues in the state for rivalry games. The seven schools that comprise the league have a long reputation of hotly contested games. Most times the players who are playing are sons or grandsons of former players or at least former graduates of that school. I am biased spending 5 years in that league as an assistant coach I know what the rivalry between schools is all about. However there is mutual respect for each program. St Anthony's won the league last season on its way to a state championship. Let's take a crystal ball look at the upcoming season for these 2 programs and what we might expect.
