CP3NMSC North (PHL) Superlatives: 8th Grade Rebounders

Philadelphia, PA — The CP3 North National Middle School Combine continued to bring out the best in the class of 2030, as players battled for position and showed grit in the paint. While scorers and playmakers had their moments, it was the work on the glass that often decided possessions and momentum. In part four of our coverage, we highlight the top rebounders, players who imposed their will inside, secured extra chances for their teams, and consistently controlled the boards with strength, timing, and effort...    Jonas Bass lived around the rim at the 2025 CP3 North Middle School Combine, giving his team a clear edge with his activity on the glass. He consistently controlled the boards on both ends, hauling in defensive rebounds while keeping offensive possessions alive with timely tip-outs and second-chance opportunities. Bass's relentless energy and positioning made him a constant presence inside, setting the tone as one of the most active rebounders throughout the weekend.     Freddy Bopanzi was one of the most active interior players at the 2025 CP3 North Middle School Combine, using his height to dominate the glass. He consistently secured rebounds on both ends, and few players were able to keep him off the boards. His size gave him a natural advantage inside, but it was his awareness around the rim that really set him apart. Bopanzi's activity in the paint made him a reliable presence and a difference-maker for his team.     Deion Jordan stood out at the 2025 CP3 North Middle School Combine with his ability to control the boards whenever his team needed a stop or a second chance. He used his combination of strength and length to carve out position and rebound at a high level on both ends of the floor. Jordan's physicality gave him a clear advantage inside, allowing him to outwork opponents and make his presence felt in the paint throughout the combine.     Mamoudou Soumaoro was one of the biggest breakout performers at the 2025 CP3 North Middle School Combine, using his size, length, athleticism, and overall skill set to take over games when he was on the floor. He made a major impact on the glass, consistently cleaning up rebounds and giving his team extra possessions. Soumaoro's physical tools allowed him to dominate inside, while his activity and energy separated him from his peers. His performance firmly established him as a name to watch moving forward.     Xavier Stanek used his combination of height and physicality to be a consistent force on the glass at the 2025 CP3 North Middle School Combine. He established position early and used his strength effectively to secure rebounds on both ends of the floor. Around the rim, Stanek's physical presence made him difficult to move, allowing him to control the paint and give his team extra opportunities.
