On the basketball court, he's one of the top small school bigs in the state. He can dominate in the paint area with his 230-pound frame. He is also a very capable ball handler and perimeter shooter.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Demetrius Thompson (Brentwood): A )'4 2026 forward who also excels in football and track. He is a force around the basket with his strength and athleticism. He averaged-7 points and 13 rebounds last season. He is headed to SEMO to play football next season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2837041' first='Kash' last='Holt'] (Princeton): A 6'5 2027 forward who is primed to break out after a solid sophomore campaign. He's physically strong is long and athletic and he excels at both ends. He is an excellent post player who can score with a variety of moves around the basket. He helped lead St Paul to 21 victories last season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2843277' first='Ben' last='Eckhoff'] (Lincoln): A 6'3 2026 forward who helped lead Lincon to a Final Four berth last season. He's physically strong and he plays a tough game in the low post. He averaged 10 points and seven rebounds while shooting 55 percent from the field.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2536437' first='Max' last='Wheeler'] (St Vincent): A 6'3 2026 forward who is a versatile offensive weapon. He can facilitate offense with his passing and he can score from multiple spots on the floor. He's physically strong is equally effective in the paint and on the perimeter. He uses his size and strength to establish good position in the post to score and also grab offensive rebounds.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Mason Cogdill (Hartville): A 6'3 2026 small forward who helped lead the Eagles to a district championship. He scored 20 points in the district championship victory over Norwood in a big showdown. He is difficult to move when he establishes his position in the low post. He has an excellent power game and a nice touch around the basket. He uses his strength to score on tough drives in the paint and he can also knock down 3-pointers.
