The School Season is right around the corner and it is time to get the conversation started about the top teams in the state. Every year there is a debate about the best teams in the state, and here in Louisiana, we have the distinction of Select vs Non-Select. Before the season starts, I think we should start the conversation about the Top Teams in the State in each Division regardless of their classification. These are my way-too-early Top Teams in the top three Divisions.

The Zachary Broncos are the reigning champs, and there is no good reason to believe they will not repeat, considering they bring back their Championship game MVP Ian Edmond (ULM Offer) , along with sharpshooter Kristion Brooks, and they have added Four-Star football recruit and top basketball player [player_tooltip player_id='2132743' first='Ethan' last='Kimmie']. [player_tooltip player_id='2132763' first='Mason' last='Newman'] had a big summer and has evolved his game as well, and to top it off, Senior [player_tooltip player_id='1543667' first='Cambren' last='Price'] looked like he will be a big-time difference maker as he could be the x factor in big games, adding to his skill set over the summer as well. There will be tough competition for the Broncos, but their program is consistently at the top of the state, and even in games where they may be outmatched by size or talent, their aggressive style of play could surely carry them through.

Madison Prep could be the best team in the state with talent from the top to the bottom of their roster. Notable athletes on their team start with the Team USA Invite [player_tooltip player_id='2873172' first='William' last='Nelson Jr.'] coming off a productive summer in which he earned offers from NC State and LSU just to name a few. [player_tooltip player_id='2471554' first='Elijah' last='Garner'] showed that he can lead the team at the LHSBCA Event earning offers from ULM, LSU and NC State as well. [player_tooltip player_id='1543704' first='Kenny' last='Brown'] was a name to know around the state as he caught the attention of several coaches and scouts around the state. They have also added some notable transfers, including 6'8 [player_tooltip player_id='2906290' first='Aguar' last='Maper'] and he adds another element of size and potential which could make them even more dangerous. End to end they have size, skill, athleticism and time on the court together. There is also a young core of talent that could earn minutes during the season and further frustrate competition. Just remember these names and keep an eye out for emerging talent on this roster.

Bossier City has a slogan “Nothing Bigger Than the B” and this year it looks like they will be the team to beat. Bossier is loaded with talent, and coaching and culture is something that you never have to question with this program. Big man [player_tooltip player_id='2132841' first='Jaden' last='Davis'] is ready to assume big man duties. [player_tooltip player_id='2629329' first='Rodrieon' last='Dillard'] is a new weapon to the Bossier arsenal along with [player_tooltip player_id='2883121' first='Braylon' last='Robinson'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2884749' first='JayBreion' last='Patterson']. Sharpshooter [player_tooltip player_id='2532091' first='David' last='Thomas'] returns to build on his impressive Freshman season and [player_tooltip player_id='2401940' first='Ty'Coreion' last='Williams'] and Jatravion Bunnery are some more notable names on this loaded roster. On top of all that, only one of the aforementioned is a Senior. Bossier is one of the only teams in North Lousiana that consistently gets down south and returns with
