Kenny Brown Kenny Brown 6'0" | PG Madison Preparatory Academy | 2026 State LA is an especially fun player to watch because of the way he uses the mid-range shot. I have always enjoyed watching players that use the one dribble pull up as their primary weapon, and Brown gets high off the ground on his shot, showing his athleticism on jumpers. He has a football players frame and finishes through contact easily. Brown is elite in many aspects of the game and at the next level he will surely flourish. 

Brown is an all around team player that does what is required to win the game. When defense is needed, you can see his intensity on that side of the ball. When a bucket is needed, he can get it however he likes. He has a quick first step, a strong build and he gets up quick on his one dribble pull up making him tough to figure out. He does not dominate the ball on offensive possessions, and he uses his agility to shift defenders to get what he wants. This will be a big season for Brown.

Brown was one of the most exciting players to watch during the JSE Event, consistently doing everything needed to propel his team to victory. A big, strong guard, he easily bullies players his size and even smaller. Fast from end to end and incredibly quick, he leverages these skills to get to mid-range pullups effortlessly. His quickness allows him to get the ball up fast, making him a tough cover. Brown stays active on both ends—rebounding at a high level and attacking the rim with relentless energy, almost unstoppable when downhill. As one of the biggest stock risers in the state, he’ll be a primary weapon for Madison Prep, and with his continued growth, they’re poised for a deep playoff run.

Brown is a big guard with a high motor who is intense on defense and embraces the physical aspects of the game. Strong enough to guard positions 1-3, he combines athleticism with great lateral quickness, making him a tough matchup for opponents. His aggressive style can be a nightmare for finesse players. Offensively, his strength lies in driving to the rim, and he also excels at rebounding. Look for a big summer and a jump in the rankings for this stock riser.
