The field is always loaded with Division I talent and draws a good mix of nationally recognized programs and more local teams for exposure to college coaches and NBA scouts. This year's field was stacked as usual and we bounced between Coronado and Silverado high schools to take in the action. Below we break down the best wing scorers we watched.</p>

<p>Smooth shooting wing/forward with positional size and length that translate well on both ends. Offensively versatile with the ability to space the floor and knock down shots off the catch. Shoots with balance and confidence, maintaining consistency from multiple spots on the perimeter. Active on the glass and frequently creates second-chance opportunities through effort and positioning. Shows good timing and touch on put-backs around the rim. Plays within himself and contributes efficiently without needing high usage.</p>

Shows the ability to attack downhill in straight-line drives, using his burst and long first step to get to the rim. Operates effectively as a triple-threat playmaker, capable of scoring, driving, or finding open teammates when defenders collapse. Finishes strong at the rim with balance, control, and the ability to absorb or play above contact. Good court awareness and a mature basketball IQ that translates to efficient offensive decision-making. Possesses positional size and length with a frame that projects well for continued physical development.</p>

Has shown the ability to stretch that same shooting consistency beyond the arc as a catch-and-shoot threat. Makes sound decisions as a secondary playmaker and rarely forces low-percentage looks. Possesses good positional size and length that allow him to shoot over smaller defenders and hold his own defensively on the perimeter. High-IQ off-ball mover who reads his point guards well and finds open pockets within the defense. Plays within himself and values efficiency in his shot selection.</p>

<p>Has all of the physical tools you look for in a high major wing and a perimeter skill-set to match. Shoots a fluid and easy three-ball off the catch, can attack and finish in straight-line drive situations, capable pull-up jump shooter. Very effective using his long first step to get a defender on his hip on his half-court and transition drives to the rim. Length and long strides allow him to cover ground quickly and finish at the rim.</p>

Possesses a prototypical frame for a Division I wing with length, balance and fluid athleticism. Can create separation off the bounce and generate his own looks against solid defenders.</p>

His ability to cover ground quickly and elevate quickly in space makes him a lethal transition scoring threat. In half-court offense, Richardson is best as a slasher, cutter and offensive rebound finisher around the basket who is good for a couple of poster dunks in every event he plays in.</p>

Jordan also showed a smooth pull-up mid-range jumper and the ability to stretch the floor to the three-point line off the catch. Put pressure on the rim as a straight-line driver when catching and ripping to his right hand.</p>

Shows good decision-making and keeps the game simple without forcing plays. Plays with composure and efficiency, maximizing his skill set within his role.</p>

Very slithery with the ball when attacking driving lanes allowing him to split defenders and get into the lane where he scored with touch or physicality. Capable three-point shooter who gets good lift on his shot and finishes it with a high release.</p>
