Kooken played sparingly on a loaded Northwest team last year, appearing in 13 games and averaging 2.8 points in his appearances. He had a sensational spring and summer with [program_tooltip program_id='2270834' first='Iowa' last='United'], landing early Division I offers from Arizona State and Oregon. A sharpshooting guard with unlimited range and the ability to scorch the nets off both the dribble and the catch, he has an innate feel for the game, knowing when to pick his spots as a scorer or as a facilitator. He'll play a complementary role this year as a sophomore on a team featuring a pair of Big Ten commits, and then will step into a starring role as a junior.

What Craig did last year as extremely rare - starting every game for a 4A team that was a state tournament qualifier. And he started for good reason. He's a high IQ, tough defender who can guard one through five at this level, using his physicality and length to contest shots or move his feet on the perimeter. On the offensive end, he can knock down shots from distance, post up smaller defenders, and he's a skilled passer who sees the floor well. He averaged 7.0 points, 5.6 rebounds, 1.2 assists, 1.4 steals, and 1.3 blocks per game as a freshman for the Warriors.

Severson put up huge numbers as a freshman for the 1A state champion Tigers, averaging 15.4 points, 8.0 rebounds and shooting 66.5% from the floor. He's one of the most physically imposing players in the state's 2028 class, a big, physical frame paired with finesse and explosive athleticism. Those same attributes have made him one of the most coveted tight end prospects in the country in the 2028 class, meaning his future likely lies on the gridiron.

Kasperbauer played a little bit of varsity ball last year for the Jaguars, averaging 2.1 points per game. He was great throughout the spring and summer with [program_tooltip program_id='2270834' first='Iowa' last='United'], and was awesome when we saw the Jags play at the Winterset Shootout. A long, lanky three-level scorer who does a great job utilizing his size advantage on the offensive end, he's a smooth all-around offensive weapon who can take slower-footed defenders off the dribble and get to the rim, or knock down shots with feathery touch from distance.

Perrin was a key contributor for a good DCG team as a freshman, averaging 6 points and shooting just under 43% from behind the arc. He has a quick release on his shot both off the dribble and the catch, getting the ball into his shooting pocket in the blink of an eye, and he moves really well without the ball in his hands.
