Expert Analysis
Tony Roe | Prep Hoops Scout
Kasperbauer played a little bit of varsity ball last year for the Jaguars, averaging 2.1 points per game. He was great throughout the spring and summer with Iowa United , and was awesome when we saw the Jags play at the Winterset Shootout. A long, lanky three-level scorer who does a great job utilizing his size advantage on the offensive end, he’s a smooth all-around offensive weapon who can take slower-footed defenders off the dribble and get to the rim, or knock down shots with feathery touch from distance.

Kasperbauer looks like he may end up being one of the top players in the ’28 class, an impressive blend of length, size, athleticism, and talent. He shoots it at a really high level off both the dribble and the catch, with a high release and great rotation on his shot. He plays with good pace, attacking the rim off the dribble and changing speeds well to help get by defenders. He covers a ton of ground on both ends of the floor with his long arms and strides and can provide some versatility on the defensive end.
