2027 Rankings Update: Top 100 Newcomers

PH NorCal has updated our class of 2027 rankings. We didn't have any prospects crack the top 50, but there's a few newbies that played their way into the top 100 after we put eyes on them.    A long wiry prospect, still growing into his body, a frame to fill. He can play on the perimeter, moving, and cutting to the basket. He's shot ready in the corners for 3's, can use a dribble, or two along the baseline for the short jumper or to get closer to the basket. He has some balance, plays off two feet, can finishes at the rim with either hand. A good high/low post passer. He's an alert defender, gets out on shooters. He has the length and size to defend and distract in the paint.     A growing prospect with an improving skill set. He has lengthy arms, moves his feet, an alert defender. He's a screener, ball mover, and slasher who'll finish around the rim. He'll get some points with extra effort rebounding for now. He showed some ability in the Spring, and Summer playing 16u, helping bring the ball up court, make the pass and good decisions on the perimeter, had good drives at times. He shot open 3's. He's sharpening his offensive skill set. Good upside     He's about 6'4 and growing, has movement, and activity in and around the post area. He can be a target posting up on the low block, has improving footwork, a solid body, and balance to handle contact going up. He's a passer, and screener from the high post, can hit the paint jumper. He'll receive, and finish the pick and roll. He has good effort defending bigger players in the post area.     He did enough to crack the top 100 rankings as a newcomer. Mainly because he shows he can hit the 3-point shot at a good rate. He has some moves to get his shot up, and off attacking from the perimeter, shoulders shakes, jab steps, and crossovers. He'll finish in different ways, pull up for short jumers, including reverses.     Had a good Spring and Summer playing 16U. He has good length, and movement in the paint, arms up and away from his body, he talks on defense, hustles back to defend. He'll probably grow, and fill his frame a bit more. He has room to grow his game. He plays on the perimeter, spots up at times in the corners for catch 3's. He's a ball mover, sets solid screens before heading down to help rebound, he runs hard to fill lanes in transition.     Had a good showing at the Pro West Camp. He has square shoulders, strength and movement, showed he could drive from the perimeter to the paint. He pulled up for the mid-range jumper. He showed his muscle inside, grabbing rebounds, and finishing strong around the rim on the put back. Good size and body has room to grow his game.     Around 6'3, he plays with good effort, willing to take some hits on strong drives to the basket. Plays mostly off ball with strong passing around the perimeter, has good movement, hard cuts to the basket taking the hit. He helps rebound, defend bigger players, gets out on shooters. He has foot speed to defend on the perimeter, goes hard to the basket for transition layups.
