Green can put the ball on the floor, finishes well in the paint, can create his own shot, and has a chance to develop into a pretty high level defender. His lateral movement skills and quickness have taken a huge step forward and raise both the ceiling as well as his floor as a prospect. He will lead the way for the National HS team on the Grind Session circuit this year.

-Lyons absolutely blew up this offseason and rightfully so as the rising junior showed that he should be considered one of the top PGs in America. Our scouts have come away impressed with his improved consistency and his ability to really pass the rock at a high level. An explosive athlete that is just as comfortable running a fastbreak as he is creating in the halfcourt, Lyons is also an effective scorer that can call his own number without needing a ball screen. CG should be one of the best teams if not the best team in the area and will have a chance to show it with a beefed-up schedule that includes matchups with the top area teams.

-Arguably the most talented player in the class, Woodard is a skilled wing that can dribble, pass, and shoot while also detonating above the rim with explosive leaping ability. Woodard can play both on or off the ball and is making way more decisive reads now that the game has slowed down for him. If he can be a leader for McNamara at the defensive end of the floor while producing consistently at the opposite end-- the Mustangs have a chance to take home a WCAC Championship.

-One of my picks for potential national stockrisers from the area, Veney should be one of the leading scorers in the conference this season as the head of the snake for SJC. Veney processes things quickly in ball screens and is great at manipulating the defense with his eyes before making them pay with a crosscourt skip to an open shooter. His ability to affect the game in many different areas (rebounding, scoring, passing, defending) makes him extremely valuable to a young Cadets group that will need his leadership this season.

-Veney's backcourt mate also played with him on the circuit this year with Melo and looks good in new threads with SJC. Taylor is a physically-imposing wing prospect that bullies his matchup on drives to the rim, hits the glass extremely hard at both ends of the floor, and has improved his standstill jumper quite a bit. Taylor's consistency and productivity set him aside from the pack and boost him into the top 5 for the class.

-Talk about an absolute workhorse. Condon has really attacked his weaknesses as a prospect and the work has shown in his production this summer and fall. Condon's value is serving as a physical screen-setter and rebounder that has improved his touch around the rim but he has quietly become one of the best shooters on this Sidwell team. Condon's conditioning has improved and the improved stamina has helped both his lateral quickness as well as the end to end speed/leaping ability.

-Mancho is everything that coaches are looking for in their bigs. Mancho communicates at a high level, is a physical presence on the glass, can score from the low post, has improved his shooting touch from the FT line and midrange, and generates most of his own offense with his rebounding. His motor always runs hot and our scouts have been impressed by how great of a teammate he is both on the sidelines as well as in the game. He will be a big part of OLMC's push for another BCL title this season.

-The lightning-quick guard retains his position in the class as he is now the unquestioned leader in the room for SFA. The southpaw can create for himself at all 3 levels, is rarely beaten to a 50/50 ball, generates paint touches virtually whenever he wants, and is especially dynamic in transition. Should be in the running for MIAA and BCL Player of the Year this season as he will likely play a huge role in SFA's success this season.

-Malonga continues his steady climb in our rankings with some improved perimeter skills shown this fall. Malonga is finding opportunities to move off the ball to create easy baskets with backdoor cuts but is also creating his own shot at a much higher level outside of the paint with stepback and sidestep 3s finding their way through the bottom of the net. His upside defensively is also starting to come to fruition as he has become a more active shot-blocker both on and off the ball. If he can continue to sharpen the handle to keep up with his strides to the rim, I think he can add in a play-making dimension to his game.

-If we were going off of upside for the prospects in this top 10, Drayton would likely be in the top 3. The athletic forward arrives in Forrestville as yet another weapon in the arsenal for Coach Jay Gavin and company. Drayton runs the floor hard, has improved as a straight line driver from the elbows, can block a ton of shots, and is pretty mobile on the wings defensively. Very interested to see how he's used within McNamara's offensive and defensive schemes this season but at the absolute very least he will provide high level rim protection and above the rim finishing ability as a lob /roll target that this team has been looking for.
