-One of the best if not the best shooter in the state, Greenwood impressed our writers during the summer with both his AAU and HS team. Standing at least 6'6 with an absolute ratchet of a perimeter jumper, Greenwood spaces the floor well for his team but is also capable of some secondary play-making and competes defensively. With one of the hottest skills on the market and great positional size with a 4.3 GPA-- I would expect a few schools to join Frostburg State in sending an offer his way.

-Our scouts unanimously liked what we saw from Byrd as he enters our rankings within the top-100 as a dynamic off guard/wing prospect that attacks the rim and fills it up from the perimeter. Byrd is especially effective in transition as a locomotive of a guard that plays well through contact and has a nice bag of finishing moves around the basket. With a strong build and quick feet, Byrd can also guard up or down a few positions and should prove his worth as one of the better Montgomery County prospects this season with BCC.

-Came away impressed with Kalaw's leadership, IQ, and communication during our Expo this past month. Kalaw understands angles and uses pump fakes/jabs to throw his defender off balance before attacking the paint. But again the intangibles really stood out as a floor general that communicates ball screens, puts his body on the line for 50/50 balls and drawing charges, and picks up his teammates both on the floor and on the sideline. Would like to see him add more burst with the ball in his hands and turn to sprint to meet his matchup at the spot instead of sliding with his man. Should be a key piece for SJCP this upcoming season.

-Payne debuts at 240 behind a strong showing at the PSB High Academic showcase as a mobile forward that is super active on the glass. Payne came up with some tough rebounds in traffic and earned several trips to the charity stripe while running the floor effectively as a roll target. Came away impressed with his footwork in the post but want to see him work on his weak hand around the basket to accentuate his skill base. His jumper looked consistent out to 18 feet and he also served as a willing passer in a showcase environment that doesn't always have that type of player competing. Look forward to watching him again with his HS team!

-Mollman popped with a double double performance in front of our scouts at a summer live period event as an undersized 4 that really understands how to play effectively in the halfcourt. Mollman rebounds well out of his area, is a good finisher around the basket that can play through contact, and understands how to time his drives to the rim to either wait for the ball screen or wait for the play to develop with teammates clearing out to their spots on the floor. Really effective scorer 18' and in that can drive past wings and bags to finish with either hand at the rim. Has a great second jump to collect misses and score on the putback whether it's his own miss or a teammate. The debut spot may be a bit low, but he will have ample opportunity to improve his stock as the season goes along as he forms an effective duo again with Greenwood this season for Westminster.

-Fountain possesses good positional size and +length as an intriguing W prospect that can put the ball on the floor, finish around the basket, and play above the rim. Fountain uses his length to play the passing lanes, come up with rebounds around the basket, and contest shots both on the perimeter and in the paint. Want to see him release the ball straight up and down on pull-up jumpers to take advantage of the height and length combination as he can occasionally hunch over to make the dribble pick-up easier on jumpers off the bounce. Intriguing prospect to track in Montgomery County.
