The Expo: Oregon – Team Five Scouting Reports

Looked mainly to get into the lane where he either finished at the hoop or dished it out to open teammates. Moved well without the ball to get open and while the shots weren't necessarily falling, he stayed positive and moving forward. Used his quick dribble and first step to blow by defenders and finish around the hoop with an advanced layup package. When people played off of him, he simply pulled up and drained long jumpers to keep the defense honest. Didn't just shoot the ball every time either as he also looked to get teammates involved and racked up some assists. Consistently sought to move the basketball and find teammates for scores, and balanced it well with his own offense. Showed off a nice pull-up jumper and capable ball-handling and passing skills. Knocked down open threes (four in the game we watched), pulled up from mid-range, and got all the way to the cup for buckets or free throw line opportunities, showing off his athleticism with a driving one-handed slam in the 3x3 action. The 6-foot-4 forward was a beast on the offensive glass getting scores after scores on follow-ups, and was also rewarded for running the floor with fast break layups.
