After seeing Brown a few weeks ago and the impact that he made every time he was on the court, Brown looks like he is peaking at the right time. He is an intense player with all of the skills coaches look for in a Louisiana guard. He is a dawg on the court and his skills match his mentality. He will not be outplayed or performed in any match up and that is what made the biggest impression outside of his ability to knock down shots and finish at the rim. He is equally tough on both sides of the ball and is a high IQ defender as well. Brown is a player that coaches should add to their boards if they are looking for a quintessential La Guard. Calling him a stock riser in a huge understatement.

Bernard is a true point guard and after his consistent high-level play at the JSE Event, he has shown that he has worked himself into a complete ball player. In a time where traditional point guards are hard to find, Bernard works for his teammates for overall success. Good luck guarding him or figuring out what he will do next because he uses the court like a chess board and utilizes each of his team mates to their strengths. If you think that you can cheat and play back, he will give a quick sample of his ability to knock down shots. Mid-range? Three-ball? Floater? Take your pick. Defensively he is a 94ft guard. No easy buckets when he is on the court. Given the opportunity, he can be a trusted PG at the next level. Bernard is a complete point guard that has earned the title of stock riser in the 2026 class.

Daggs is next up in the long line of tough Wossman guards, and based on his summer play, he is ready to fill the role as scorer. I was able to watch him several games in the summer, and he scored in every way possible while in the game. He is a big shot maker and plays the game with no fear. His game is bigger than his size and he is poised to step into the spotlight as he will star as part of a new Dynamic scoring duo alongside Turpin at Wossman. The back-to-back Champions will need him to do what he does best and in bunches and he will surely have plenty of opportunities. Watch out for Daggs because he could have a breakout senior campaign with the green light at Wossman.

Spansel is looking like his senior year is going to be a special one. He has taken the time and consistently built his game. It is known that he can score the ball, but his emphasis on getting to the rim and finishing through contact takes his game to another level. His strong build is going to easily make him a tougher player to guard this season. His All-Star Selection at The Phenom Camp, consistent recognition at PrepHoops events, and stellar performances at countless elite camps certainly pushes him into the stock riser category. His complete approach to the game and relentless motor will serve him well as his play could elevate Ascension Christian into a serious contender this season. Great off season by Spansel.

Be on the looJames is a point guard, but his superpower is scoring the ball. Bottom line up front is the kid is a shooter. Not a three-point shooter, just a shooter. He can knock it down from anywhere on the court. On top of that he is a great facilitator. You can put the ball in his hands and just let him go. He will make the right play. He is comfortable with the ball in his hands and constantly keeps his head up to catch teammates cutting to the goal or giving them catch and shoot opportunities. He never looks frustrated or rattled on the court and plays the game with a quiet poise that calms his teammates and frustrates defenders. James is a college player that can be trusted to run a team at the next level.
