Be on the looJames is a point guard, but his superpower is scoring the ball. Bottom line up front is the kid is a shooter. Not a three-point shooter, just a shooter. He can knock it down from anywhere on the court. On top of that he is a great facilitator. You can put the ball in his hands and just let him go. He will make the right play. He is comfortable with the ball in his hands and constantly keeps his head up to catch teammates cutting to the goal or giving them catch and shoot opportunities. He never looks frustrated or rattled on the court and plays the game with a quiet poise that calms his teammates and frustrates defenders. James is a college player that can be trusted to run a team at the next level.

I’ve heard this kid can score, but what impressed me most—especially in a game against Jena—was his ability to facilitate. He delivered precise left- and right-handed passes in traffic and in the open court, consistently making plays for his teammates. His extended range beyond the arc adds to his threat, making him even more dangerous on the floor. Truly a three-level scorer, he’s equally proficient with mid-range shots, finishes around the rim, and handles the three-point line with confidence. After watching three games, I’m not even sure which skill is his best because he demonstrates elite ability in all three areas—mid-range, finishing, and shooting the three. This kid is definitely one to watch.
