Section 3AAA was won by St. Paul Harding last year (who is now in Class AA). Anybody could win it this year. So, who has the most returning talent from last year to potentially make a run? We dive in to that today!

Minneapolis Roosevelt

[player_tooltip player_id='1560875' first='Calvin' last='Peterson'] (2026, [program_tooltip program_id='2075674' first='Minnesota' last='Heat']). Peterson averaged 18 points, five rebounds, three assists and three steals a game for an improved Roosevelt team a season ago. Expectations for Calvin are big next year and he is coming off of a big 17u season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2960231' first='Cameron' last='Sandeen'] (2026, Minnesota Suns). Cameron was the third leading scorer at 10 points a game a season ago with 3.5 assists and a couple steals a game. He is a guard that also played with the Suns this 17u season and had success.

Steven Hunter (2026). Hunter is a 5'8 guard that scored 9.3 points a game last year and his return gives the Teddies three of their top four guys back. Plus.... they have some good up and coming young talent as well.

Minneapolis South

[player_tooltip player_id='2435232' first='Jumair' last='Wright'] (2028, [program_tooltip program_id='2075485' first='Gain' last='Elite']). When I saw Wright play, I was highly impressed. When I checked with others they talked about Wright being one of the most rapidly improving players in the class. He scored 15 a game last season and has a big season coming up.

[player_tooltip player_id='2409303' first='Ramadan' last='Ibrahim'] (2027, [program_tooltip program_id='2075425' first='CRCTB' last='']). Ibrahim is a 5'11 guard that scored a dozen points a game a season ago and he played very well for his 16u team this spring. Shot 41 percent from the arc last season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2409295' first='Ridwan' last='Ibrahim'] (2026). The 6'4 forward gave his team nine points and six rebounds a game last season and one of three starters returning for South. Expectations should be higher with the Ibrahims and Wright returning among others.

St. Paul Como Park

[player_tooltip player_id='1874815' first='Contrell' last='Jenkins'] (2026, Minnesota Chill). Jenkins is an excellent ball pressure defender and he is the top returning scorer for Como Park at nine points per game. He's a 5'11 guard that has earned All St. Paul City Conference honors and will enter the season as a preseason All league pick.

Jeremiah Ranson (2026). Ranson is a 5'7/5'8 guard that is a really good football player that is also a pest of a hooper too. He's quick and can pressure, and he scored 6.5 points per game last year.

[player_tooltip player_id='1874849' first='Hezekiah' last='Bradshaw'] (2026, [program_tooltip program_id='2075496' first='Grassroots' last='Sizzle']). The 5'10 guard scored 6.5 points per game last season and had a nice summer both with Sizzle and Como. Another player that laterally moves well and could help make Como tough to deal with ball pressure wise. Good change of direction and a solid passer.

St. Paul Highland Park

[player_tooltip player_id='2874892' first='Izaiah' last='Davis'] (2027, [program_tooltip program_id='2075496' first='Grassroots' last='Sizzle']). Davis is the top returning Highland Park scorer at 9.3 points per game. He is a 6'3 forward at about 200 pounds and he should step into a bigger role.

[player_tooltip player_id='1874923' first='Otahl' last='Webb'] (2026). A quick guard that scored 8.8 points per game as a junior. Plays with a lot of energy.

Romello Horton (2026). Horton is a 6'4 center that scored five points a game last season. He's the top returning paint player.

St. Thomas Academy

[player_tooltip player_id='2119593' first='Lars' last='Osteraas'] (2026, [program_tooltip program_id='2075672' first='Minnesota' last='Fury'] Reyes). Lars once again had a fantastic year with the Fury and now we look to him to see what he can do for STA. Lars scored 13.3 points per game a year ago and is coming off of a 17u all state season.

Todd Rogalski (2026). Todd scored five points a game last year and is the second leading returning scorer. The 5'11 guard is a football prospect that recently picked up a football offer from UST.

[player_tooltip player_id='2464625' first='Dominic' last='Baez'] (2026). Baez scored just over two buckets a game last year as a 5'8 guard. Baez is also a football prospect who had a couple touchdowns in the opener last week for STA. He's also one of three guys back from STA's eight man rotation of a season ago.

Simley

[player_tooltip player_id='2121366' first='Connor' last='Streiff'] (2026). A 6'3 wing/forward that scored 14 points per game as a junior and enters his senior season looking to be a go to player. Streiff shoots it well and is a long time varsity regular.

[player_tooltip player_id='2405556' first='Tre' last='Lovelace'] (2027, [program_tooltip program_id='2075685' first='Minnesota' last='Select'] Horn). Tre scored about a dozen points a game last year and this shifty attacker then had a nice spring/summer contributing for Select Horn playing up a grade. Tre has already played three seasons of varsity basketball and is ready for a big pair of upperclassmen years.

[player_tooltip player_id='2440424' first='Andre' last='Glass'] (2028, [program_tooltip program_id='2075496' first='Grassroots' last='Sizzle']). A ball handler that scored nine points a game for Simley and now he's a sophomore that should pair with Lovelace and make for a veteran backcourt despite still being young players.

South St Paul

[player_tooltip player_id='2126460' first='Donte' last='Branch'] (2027, Team GA). When I see Branch play I think shooter. And his resume screens.... shooter! He scored 13.5 points per game last year as a sophomore and had a nice shooting season at 16u. Improved playmaker too.

[player_tooltip player_id='2120510' first='Addison' last='Tereau'] (2026). An all around player that does the loose ball work, the off ball work, he boards, he attacks, and at 6'2 they can use him all over. Averaged 11 a game last year and had a 30 point game against Simley.

[player_tooltip player_id='2126151' first='Marco' last='London'] (2027, [program_tooltip program_id='2075808' first='Powerhouse' last='MN']). Marco is a lead guard at 5'10 who scored 8.7 points per game last year as a sophomore and is also a solid football player. A high energy, high attack player.
