Prep Hoops Indiana Freshman Showcase – Team 6 Evaluations

Not only is it a great opportunity for our staff to get an early evaluation of some of the most talented freshmen before the begin their high school career, but it also serves as an important evaluation/recruiting tool for our state's many great AAU programs. This year we welcomed in over 100 of the best Class of 2029 prospects here in Indiana. When it comes to hustle and competing on the defensive end, this guard was one of the best. While on the shorter side, Setser defended well and made solid plays on offense, including showing a nice floater from time to time. At 5'11", Bellamy uses his athleticism to his advantage and plays with a high motor. A shorter guard out of Westfield, Cole was very shifty and could get the defense off balance at times. As the son of a head coach, Wetzel displayed elite fundamentals on the floor, combining length and smoothness. He played physically around the rim, and most defenders struggled to contend with his length. At 5'9", Nourene is a guard with tight handles and the ability to be shifty at times. He may not wow you with athleticism, but he was impressive in his ability to score at all three levels. On defense, he consistently challenged shots, and on offense, he knocked down a few impressive threes.
