<p>The Sophomore ID Camp did not disappoint. From the opening tip to the final whistle, the gym was buzzing with energy as some of the best young players in the area stepped into the spotlight. There was definitely some breakout performances, highlight reel plays, and rising prospects turning heads. This was a stage built for talent, and they most certainly delivered. <p class="text-gray-700">Ortiz Jr made a noticeable impact at the showcase with his relentless, scrappy play in the paint. He consistently battled for rebounds, using positioning and anticipation to secure boards on both ends of the floor. He showed toughness and awareness, converting put backs and capitalizing on second chance opportunities. His effort and physicality allowed him to influence the game in areas where hustle and instincts matter most, giving his team extra possessions and points. Ortiz Jr's performance highlighted not just his skill around the rim, but also his competitive mindset and willingness to do the hard work that often sets players apart</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Kempfer brought a blend of length, body control and scoring ability to the court. He used long arms effectively on both ends contesting shots, altering passes and creating space when attacking the basket. Offensively he was able to finish through contact or adjust mid air when needed. Beyond scoring he showed an awareness of positioning and timing that allowed him to impact plays even without the ball. Kempfer's combination of physical tools and poise highlighted his versatility and suggested he has the ability to influence games in multiple when called upon</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Valencia made a strong impression at the showcase with a well rounded offensive game. He was constantly able to knock down shots from the perimeter and found the open corners, showing a smooth stroke and confidence beyond the arc. His pump fake was effective in getting defenders off balance, allowing him to create space and attack the rim with strength and control. Valencia's combination of shooting touch, savvy movement, and physicality around the basket made him a real scoring threat and a player who can impact the game in multiple ways</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Ezeaku was able to impact play on both ends of the floor with his impressive size, length, and frame. Down low he consistently used his physical tools to establish position, grab rebounds and score efficiently around the basket. His ability to finish through contact and leverage his body in the paint made him a reliable interior option. Ezeaku showed an awareness that really allowed him to impact the game inside and what we can come to expect from his play in the future</p>
