[player_tooltip player_id='2966437' first='AJ' last='Mason'] (Smithville): A 6'0" point guard walks the fine line of being a running the offense and distributing the basketball while also being able to get buckets. He does a nice job of playing the game at his own pace. He doesn't get sped up and he gets to where he wants to go. He creates well off the dribble and can make shots in the mid range area. He averaged 12 points, five rebounds and five assists as a junior. He had a good summer playing with the 816 Hoops 17U.

[player_tooltip player_id='2966365' first='Tryton' last='Jackson'] (Springfield Central): A dynamic 6'3" guard who has a chance to have a big senior year as he steps into a big role for a retooled Central team. He's an explosive athlete with a strong motor and the ability to score in a variety of ways. I got a chance to watch him at the Missouri S&T Elite Camp in September and he put on an impressive show of athleticism and shot making. He is a terrific slasher who can also excel in the open court.

[player_tooltip player_id='2925109' first='Lucas' last='Dolan'] (Lathrop): A 6'3" shooting guard who can really fill it up from 3-point distance. When he has it going, he can make shot from well beyond the 3-point line. He made 66 triples last season and he has his eye on breaking the school record this season. He moves well and comes off screens shot ready. He can also attack the close out to hit the one dribble pull up from the mid range area.

[player_tooltip player_id='2966402' first='Henry' last='Hibey'] (Priory): A 6'3" guard who is one of the top perimeter marksmen in the St. Louis area. He made 92 triples as a junior. He is always moving and he reads defenses well. He was a solid player as a sophomore on a Class 3 state quarterfinals team in 2024. He stepped into a big role as a junior last season as he averaged 20 points a game. He is also not afraid to take big shots in clutch situations.

[player_tooltip player_id='2966423' first='Carlaun' last='Nelson'] (Miller Career Academy): A 6'1" combo guard who should be one of the top players in the Public High League this season. He is a long, athletic guard who can create off the dribble. He has a smooth looking jumper off the dribble and he can also defend well. He averaged 14 points a game as a junior.

[player_tooltip player_id='2966431' first='James' last='Frazier IV'] (Grandview): A 6'0" point guard who plays the game with excellent pace with his speed and quickness. Even while playing fast, he makes good decisions with the ball. He looks to attack, but he knows when set the offense up and distribute the ball. He is also an excellent defensive player who can pick up ball handlers in the backcourt and harass them the full court. He can really set the tone with his ball hawking defense.

[player_tooltip player_id='2966432' first='Owen' last='Seitz'] (Nixa): A 5'11" point guard who can really shoot the basketball from distance. He is physically strong on the dribble and he can get his shot in the lane as well. He saw some minutes of a Class 6 Final Four team that finished in third place. He has a chance to step into a bigger role with his ability to make perimeter shots.
