The Expo was full of juniors that I think are going to make a big varsity splash this winter. Here are the new names to now from that junior group!

[player_tooltip player_id='2371558' first='Jack' last='Abfalter'] of Foley (6'4). Jack is one of the more promising players from Foley that I have seen in some time. A good sized forward that moved off the ball to score and he possesses good agility at 6'4. His consistency at forward is something that I think Foley might be able to use this winter.

[player_tooltip player_id='2834084' first='Kingland' last='Adeosun'] of Stillwater (6'4). When it came to active buckets - cuts, putbacks, transition runs, etc - I thought Kingland made the most of his chances. The two times I watched him play the 6'4 forward was among the leading scorers simply by playing active and getting to the paint in space. I really liked his face up at the elbow into an attack score, and then he had a one dribble pull up made in the same scenario.

[player_tooltip player_id='2962770' first='Jacob' last='Balami'] of Math & Science (6'3). Balami was the leading scorer for his high school team as a junior making a third of his threes and putting up a double figure average. He really caught my eye with his pull-up game and the activity he played with as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='2549936' first='Owen' last='Boldt'] of Irondale (6'2). The first player that caught my eye at the event was Owen, a player that was on the Irondale junior varsity last season. Boldt appeared to be a player that should be able to jump right into the varsity level and help his team. He is a skilled wing that moved the ball well that started the game attacking to score but was followed by jumpers that were made. He did things to disrupt defensively throughout the game and those steals and deflections from Owen led to transition stuff. And as the game moved on Owen hit more and more threes giving him a game high scoring total.

[player_tooltip player_id='2140691' first='Santiago' last='Connell'] of Shakopee (6'0). With so many spots open at Shako next year, Connell impressed Sunday with his touch and could be a shooter that helps the program.

[player_tooltip player_id='2569234' first='Dejon' last='Scott Jr'] of Concordia Academy (6'2). Dejon played for CA a bit as a freshman but was not listed last year. He looks to be healthy, fresh and ready to go for his uniform year because he was one of the quickest players at the camp and his ball movement was really strong. Constantly in transition and while the ball moved, he is also a scoring threat that looked for his shot more and more as the game moved on. Seemed like more of a two than a one as a combo.

[player_tooltip player_id='2966291' first='Oshun' last='Scott'] of Rosevlle (5'10). Watching Scott, I immediately thought... this guy has a chance to help the Raiders if he plays like this. He took the right jumpers in the halfcourt and sunk a strong percentage of them, Scott attacked to score against some good players, and he was a name that continued to make plays so the name was committed to memory early.

[player_tooltip player_id='2835693' first='Griffin' last='Sell'] of Park of Cottage Grove (6'5). Coming up from the Park JV is Sell, a 6'5 forward that moves his feel well and beat the other size up the floor every time. I feel like he will be good playing next to Ebbers as defensively he moved to pick up the ball screen really well including when he picked up Tyrel P and forced a reversal instead of one of the quickest players in the state attacking him. Sell scored around the cup and had a very good camp.

[player_tooltip player_id='2569233' first='Deanthony' last='Sells'] of St. Cloud Apollo (6'5). Started for Apollo last year and scored seven points per game. A long armed athlete that used his length to score at the rim. Attacking other bigs when he got touches and did a good job of playing actively off the ball. Should be a two year double figure scorer.

[player_tooltip player_id='2833026' first='Isaiah' last='Williams'] of Sauk Rapids (6'2). Who is going to score for the Storm with so much gone? One potential player to help could be Williams based on the Expo. He was really good in isolation scoring situations getting to his pull-up and making some clean looks from mid-range.
