Saturday, September 6th Prep Hoops Arizona had the annual EXPO Showcase which was hosted at Chaparral HS in Scottsdale, AZ. We had right around 32 players from the 2026-2028 classes who were competing in a few games of 3 on 3 followed by the regular 5 on 5 setting.

This article is not a prospect ranking but how productive they were at the camp. (This is a combination of what I viewed with the two different settings.)

Here is the 2nd Team

[player_tooltip player_id='2161181' first='Corbyn' last='Downs'] Coolidge

A combo guard who can fill it up from deep. He will rattle in threes off the catch and he can pull-up from mid-range. He can get to the basket after a ball fake and uses his left hand well. He smartly plays the passing lanes to collect steals and he should have a breakout season for Coolidge.

[player_tooltip player_id='2198602' first='Julien' last='Falk-Ramirez'] Eastwood/TX (Pictured)

A Texas product is a two-way defensive minded combo guard. He is very quick to get downhill after he puts his foot down and bursts to the basket. He has some counter moves to use with either hand, he can hit the three plus dunk it on the break. He is a great defender on the ball and showed off a real motor.

Matthew Hafalia St. Ignatius/CA

A pure point guard with a super tight handle. He had sone of the best timing on his passes at the showcase. He finds teammates straight into their shooting pockets. He can score with quick burst to the basket with either hand and he can hit the three off the catch.

[player_tooltip player_id='1633033' first='Jackson' last='Heim'] Seton Catholic

A combo forward can play both forwards spots in a pinch. He shows a nice touch from mid-range and he can get hot from the three off the catch. He can handle it to create some offense for himself and make a play for a teammate with good passing skills for position.

[player_tooltip player_id='2274252' first='Nehemiah' last='Henson'] Willow Canyon

A scoring combo guard can play on or off the ball. He made some no look passes and finds teammates when he needs to. He scores it with bursts to the basket, mid-range pull-ups with high elevation, threes off the dribble or pull and can fall away from his defender. He has quick feet to defend on the ball.

[player_tooltip player_id='2513390' first='Barron' last='Rygiel'] Boulder Creek

A face-up forward with soft hands and a nice touch from inside and out. He will score inside with ball fakes with a good feel and will finish off pick and rolls. He will then shoot it with mid-range jumpers off the dribble or catch threes. He has good length to rebound and walls up on defense.

[player_tooltip player_id='2674058' first='Zion' last='Woods'] Kellis

A long and fluid point guard. He is very fast on the break and is more athletic to now dunk it on the break. He uses his bounce to rebound and he can hit perimeter jumpers plus uses a quick burst to get downhill. He will be leaned on heavily for the West Valley team this season.
