CP3 Rising Stars National Camp: C/O 2029 Frontcourt Recap (Pt. 1)

Bermuda Run, NC — The 13th annual CP3 Rising Stars Camp wrapped up after a weekend of elite competition and steady player development. The event brought together many of the nation's top young prospects, giving them the platform to showcase their talent in front of scouts and evaluators. Standout performances came from players across every position, underscoring both their current abilities and long-term potential. In this seventh installment of our coverage, we highlight several class of 2029 bigs who left a strong impression with their play.    Cam Black impressed at the 2025 CP3 Rising Stars National Camp as a reliable interior presence for his team. He used his height and length effectively to establish position in the paint and score consistently around the basket. On the defensive end, Black stood out as a rim protector, contesting and altering shots while holding his ground against opposing bigs. His ability to defend at a high level and anchor the post made him a key contributor throughout the event.     Beckett Bruns stood out at the 2025 CP3 Rising Stars National Camp with his commanding presence in the paint. He consistently finished through smaller defenders, using his size and strength to control the basket offensively. Bruns also rebounded effectively throughout the week, securing extra possessions and limiting opponents' second-chance opportunities. On defense, he protected the rim with toughness and presence, anchoring his team in the paint and making it difficult for opponents to score inside.     Kaedyn Cole reinforced his reputation as one of the top forwards in his class at the 2025 CP3 Rising Stars National Camp. He showed excellent touch around the rim, finishing consistently in the paint while also displaying impressive vision and passing ability for his size. Cole was a workhorse in the low post, battling for position and producing at a high level on both ends. His effort and consistency made him a reliable double-double presence throughout the event, cementing his role as one of the most productive players in his class.     Jalil Hill carried his strong summer momentum into the 2025 CP3 Rising Stars National Camp, continuing to shine as one of the most productive players on the floor. He established himself as a consistent scorer and rebounder, dominating the paint on both ends of the court. Hill's size and length gave him an edge defensively, allowing him to alter shots and protect the rim effectively. His ability to produce at a high level night in and night out highlighted both his reliability and his long-term potential.     David Johnson showcased his long-term potential at the 2025 CP3 Rising Stars National Camp, delivering an impressive all-around performance. He displayed a smooth, mechanical jumper that he knocked down with confidence, adding to his offensive versatility. Johnson used his length and size effectively, both to finish plays and to control the glass as an active rebounder. On the defensive end, he continued to excel, using smart positioning and awareness to make stops.
