The Interstate Shootout featured a ton of stars at the 6th Man Center on Saturday and Sunday. It also included names that some don't know but should. Here are some gems at the guard spots:

[player_tooltip player_id='2569493' first='Kaden' last='Briscoe'] | 6'2 G 2026 MOT Charter

Against Archbishop Ryan, Briscoe let the game come to him and had a big performance on both ends. Instead of forcing shots, he got warmed up with pulled twos before extending his range for a trio of threes that kepy the Mustangs within arms reach. Defensively, he threw a wrench in Ryan's offense by making good rotations and flying around for deflections. Briscoe tallied 23 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 steals.

[player_tooltip player_id='2426914' first='Kaden' last='Brown'] | 6'0 G 2026 Archbishop Ryan

As a glue guy versus MOT Charter, Brown played his role to perfection. His off-ball movement was lethal, cutting backdoor for layups and relocating for catch-and-shoot threes. He also kept the ball moving when his shot wasn't there and made some savvy plays on defense to rack up 12 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals.

Michael Jones | 6'0 G 2027 St. Elizabeth

The Vikings dropped both games on Sunday, but they scrapped in each of them with help from Jones. Him gashing the defense off the catch gave his team some juice and allowed them to set up on defense. Jones found the bottom of the net three times from deep versus Abington and a few more times versus West Catholic.

[player_tooltip player_id='2973804' first='Ibrahim' last='Mahmoud'] | 2026 G 5'10 Constitution

Against Pitman on Saturday, Mahmoud was a menace on defense and a playmaker in transition. He picked up his man half or full court and swiped the ball away shortly after, then immediately looked to facilitate. Mahmoud flipped his forced turnovers into scoring opportunities for others, finishing the game with more assists and steals than points.

[player_tooltip player_id='2342605' first='Trevor' last='Whitaker'] | 6'5 G/W 2026 Union Catholic

Whitaker showed off the shotmaking early versus Perkiomen, hitting three triples in the first half. As soon as his PG got a paint touch or anyone gained an advantage, they spoon-fed him jump shots. And when those weren't readily available, Whitaker moved off-ball and/or attacked closeouts to get to his spots in the second level to finish with 19 points.
