Underclassmen AAG North (Blue) Team Report Class of 2027

As summer closes, I attended the Underclassmen All American Game in Atlanta, Georgia, where I saw standout players from the 2027, 2028, and 2029 classes. Here's a look at the 1st of 6 reports.    Exciting lead guard. Reese ability to break down opponents with quick crossovers along with a variety of moves his ability to get downhill and into the paint with regularity. Offensively Reese's offensive toolbox of variety of spinning layups and pull-ups are show stopping crowd pleasing. Plays the game with a lot of SWAG/CONFIDENCE!     Has a good skill set. Agile in the post and as a pick-and-roll finisher with impressive body control. Capable of handling and creating for himself. Shows some creativity with his footwork. Has a soft touch around the rim and even extends out to 3. Defensively impact the game as a rim protector when locked in and operating at maximum intensity thanks to his reach, timing and quickness. Also capable of switching on the perimeter with excellent mobility.     Has ideal physical tools for a potential big forward with perimeter skills. Showed lateral quickness, showing he is comfortable putting the ball on the floor and making plays from anywhere on the floor. Zion has plenty of room to grow offensively but already shows enough flashes as a ball handler and passer to leave plenty of room for optimism. Attacks the rim with purpose and finishes well inside the paint, while also showing potential operating out of pick-and-roll. Has good court vision, can play make with either hand.     Aggressive, confident all level scorer who was productive at virtually every phase of the game. Good open-court athlete who changes ends quickly. Creates space for himself with crossovers and step-backs going left. Can knock down pull-ups with range, change speeds and directions and initiate contact in the paint. Defensively showed the ability to guard 1-4 positions. Showed a lot of wiggle in his game!     Explosive big guard. Especially off the dribble. Tight handle. Impress with ability to play on/off the ball. Finish at the rim. Versatile guard who has the size, strength and length. Solid build 6-4 frame has a feel for the game that allows him to contribute in a variety of ways. Instinctive scorer who excels in transition and shows the ability to put the ball in the basket from all over the floor. Plays at different speeds. Finishes through contact. Confident shot-maker with range and touch.     A versatile hybrid forward with impressive offensive skills. Williams is a gifted long-range shooter that also operates well out of the high post and has a high basketball IQ. His effort on the glass is notable too. Willis will be a mismatch problem for big in the high school ranks.
