Talent in section 3AAAA has really improved in recent years and we take a look at the best returning players at each team today!

Apple Valley

[player_tooltip player_id='1560866' first='Camare'' last='Young'] (2026, [program_tooltip program_id='2455790' first='Howard' last='Pulley']). Young had a solid 17u season earning scholarship offers with his versatile play that allows him to be plugged in in a line-up in several places. Young averaged 19 points and eight rebounds a game last season shooting 51 percent from the field.

[player_tooltip player_id='2271330' first='Trey' last='Parker'] (2026, Real Phenom). Parker was a key figure last season sparking his honorable mention sophomore year at nine a game to scoring 17 points a contest shooting 39.3 percent from the arc as an all league talent. Trey is the backcourt scorer for the Eagles.

[player_tooltip player_id='2460586' first='Ryan' last='Christiansen'] (2026). Ryan led the Eagles with over nine rebounds a contest and he was the team's hard working post defender. Ryan scored six points a game as a junior and will likely need that number to improve this year, but his rebounding, defense, and ball screening are vital for AV.

Bloomington Jefferson

[player_tooltip player_id='2126170' first='Isaac' last='Feller'] (2027). A three sport standout (football, basketball, baseball) that was Jefferson's best player last year as a sophomore. Isaac led the team in assists and scored 17 points per game.

Latif Squires (2026). Latif is a 6'3 forward that gave Jefferson 5-6 points per game last season off the bench. Should move into a starting role this winter.

[player_tooltip player_id='2401356' first='Carson' last='Christensen'] (2026). A 6'2 guard that was in the varsity rotation for past of last season and should be a key part this year, likely a senior starting guard.

Burnsville

Connor McDevitt (2027, Hoop Habits). Connor is a 6'6/6'7 big that is the team's leading returning scorer and rebounder. Connor had a nice season at 16u and has some pretty good potential that could make him a college prospect.

[player_tooltip player_id='2140637' first='Jayden' last='Anunda'] (2027, Hoop Habits). Jayden is a strong and agile forward at 6'3, 6'4 that will be the second most experienced returning player for the Blaze. Anunda played off the bench last season and should be a key scoring option.

[player_tooltip player_id='2403994' first='Yannick' last='Amoyi'] (2026, [program_tooltip program_id='2075685' first='Minnesota' last='Select']). Yannick is a 400 meter track and field standout that has visited D1 track schools. He's also a 6'5/6'6 big that played some varsity for Burnsville a year ago.

Eagan

[player_tooltip player_id='1560747' first='Alex' last='Schroepfer'] (2026, [program_tooltip program_id='2075672' first='Minnesota' last='Fury']). Alex is one of the top 20 players in the state of Minnesota because of his skill and versatility at 6'6. Alex can be used just about anywhere on the high school basketball floor. Last year he averaged team highs in scoring (16.5), rebounding (7.1), assists (4.5) and steals (1.5).

[player_tooltip player_id='2118833' first='Kevin' last='Kemp'] (2026, [program_tooltip program_id='2075685' first='Minnesota' last='Select']). One of the best prospect stories of the 17u season, Kemp went from a solid player on a top ten team averaging 10 points, seven boards and 1.5 blocks a game to a top 20 prospect committed to St. Cloud State. And at Kevin's size and agility, he has a ton of room to grow.

[player_tooltip player_id='1552751' first='Michael' last='McKenzie'] (2026, Powerhouse Minnesota). At 11.5 points per game McKenzie is a shooter that teams need to locate. Between Schroepfer, Kemp, Will Berran and McKenzie, Eagan has a nice returning group to push for state.

Eastview

[player_tooltip player_id='1560881' first='Ja'carion' last='Green'] (2026, Team FSA). Green scored 18 a game as a junior and then followed that up with a really nice 17u season becoming an attacking guard schools will be tracking. Should have a huge senior season.

Erik Olson (2026). Olson was a varsity regular with his steady two way trusted play as a six foot guard. His role will increase as a senior leader which is saying something as he's been a player getting strong minutes for the last two years. Olson was a captain as a junior.

[player_tooltip player_id='2414595' first='Isaac' last='Bone'] (2026). The 6'6 frontcourt player was a varsity frontcourt regular a season ago and is expected to be a starting factor entering his senior year.

Hastings

[player_tooltip player_id='1560773' first='Matthew' last='Foss'] (2026, WOTN). Foss averaged 15 points, four rebounds, four assists, and two steals a game a season ago making 43 percent of the threes he took for a 20 win team. Foss didn't just make 43 percent of his threes, the 6'3 combo guard made that 43 percent on 5-6 three point attempts a game as the team's top weapon to plan for.

Marlowe Strain (2027). This 6'3 210 pound four sport athlete averaged 10.5 points and six rebounds a game shooting 52 percent from the field and 35 percent at the arc as a sophomore. He's a high rising football recruit in his class.

[player_tooltip player_id='2398951' first='Brady' last='Hendrickson'] (2028). This six foot guard stepped into the main rotation and scored eight points a game hitting 42.5 percent of the five threes he took per contest.

Park of Cottage Grove

[player_tooltip player_id='2423150' first='Aaron' last='Sandin'] (2026, Elevate Skills). The 6'2 190 pound forward is the leading returning scorer after he averaged ten points a contest as a junior. An inside-out player.

[player_tooltip player_id='1560748' first='Brandon' last='Bihm'] (2026, [program_tooltip program_id='2075496' first='Grassroots' last='Sizzle']). Bihm is a 6'1 guard that averaged 8.5 points a contest as a junior and will be a team leader this winter.

[player_tooltip player_id='2834228' first='Justin' last='Ebbers'] (2027, Elevate Skills). The third of the top five scorers that will return for the Wolfpack. Ebbers averaged 6.5 points per game as a sophomore and as a 6'3 and 195 pound wing Ebbers has a chance to be a leading scorer for Park. Ebbers played some at 17u and 16u this spring and summer.

Rosemount

[player_tooltip player_id='2126455' first='Peyton' last='Gholson'] (2027, Hoop Habits). Peyton scored 12.5 points per game last season and he is the spark plug guard that can lead this team. Peyton is a good ball handler and a strong three point shooter.

[player_tooltip player_id='2845973' first='Jack' last='Burke'] (2026, WOTN). Burke is a 6'4 215 pound three sport athlete that is a good football and lacrosse prospect as well. Burke scored ten points a contest as the third leading from last season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1560861' first='Mayon' last='Dixon'] (2026). Dixon scored 9.3 points per game as a 6'2 attacking athletic shooting guard. Dixon is a standout football player, hooper and track athlete.
