Yannick is a nice prospect. Definitely has the athleticism and defensive intensity to translate to the next level. Playing this summer with Select Mantey, Yannick is having a solid start to his AAU season so far. Look out for him this weekend.

Yannick showed some nice flashes off the bench for Minnesota Select on Saturday. He was the lone sophomore on varsity for Burnsville last season, and saw a few minutes off the bench most games. Based on Saturday’s showing he could be ready to step into a bigger role, and be a key player by the time his senior season rolls around. He’s a springy 6’6 wing/forward who can attack the basket and finish strong inside. Covers a lot of ground off one dribble, and can also pick up chances with his effort on the glass. Versatile defender who can man the post or move his feet out on the wing based on the lineup his team puts on the floor.
