SD 2026 Class A Players to Watch

New coaches for some of the top rated teams, and several under classman that have put in a ton of work this off season. Do we have to wait for December to kick this deal off, I'm ready now. The list of players to watch could go on and on with each class in the A's, but I kept it short. His long 6'7 body and wing span, coupled with balanced foot work, and court speed make him a must see big in SD. Gage has a sweet baby hook with great touch around the rim. His motor is high and he does a great job at owning the little things in his role. He makes a living in transition off of his own deflections. The lefty has a great looking shot from deep as well when he finds his spot. Larson is a long athletic kid who has no issue seeing the floor either, avg 3 plus assists in the games I scouted last season. He can drop some amazing finishes through contact. He's got a great looking deep ball, with a quick release. He knows how to move without the ball and find his spots well. He had 6 triples in a game against McCook Central/Montrose last year. Myles does a great job crashing the boards from his perimeter spot as well, avg 6. He has such a smooth game, packed with a deep ball, sweet floater, and a very patient and effective drive to the rim. Nyhaug really excels at getting paint touches and knowing what to do with the ball. He moves real well for a big and has good balance. Will this be Squires break out season? Trey gets to the rim and absorbs contact and finish's with ease. His deep ball is a beautiful high arching shot with soft touch. Hansen's bag is vast, with his ability to hit the step back, side step, and floater down the lane. Teegan is a shot altering menus for the Orioles. Not only does he block shots, he knows when to take the charge. Musser does a nice job getting to the rim with some crafty footwork and a solid finish. I wondered about his range, but he answered that question in last years state tournament.
