I love the way this kid plays the game. He brings an amazing energy to the game. He was vocal from the first game and throughout the whole day. Shows maturity and leadership. His court vision and ability to make passes are elite. He has a great point guard skill set. His handle is tight, he is quick to blow by anyone, and he is shifty. He figured out how ot score the ball and be impactful with limited touches. He played with high energy and was hard on both ends of the floor. He knew where to be off-ball and created shot opportunities without the ball. He has nice size, athleticism, and skills for a freshman guard. I really liked his scoring decision-making. He always passed up a good shot for a great shot. He was aggressive and scored when he could. He can score well and shows it in flashes. He is a fast player with a quick first step. He has nice length and can be an elite perimeter defender. He handles the ball well and allows it to maneuver through the defense. He found his role for his team early and excelled. I love it when a player does that in an event setting like today. He showed a high motor all day. He was willing to defend any player on the court and did it very well. He has great off-ball movement and cuts well. He can play inside and out, but played predominantly inside at the event. He has good size and physicality to his play. He was on the glass on both ends, and in an event setting, this is a great way to stand out. He ran the floor well.
