The 2025 Prep Hoops Carolinas The Expo and Freshman Showcase are fast approaching! They will be held Saturday, September 6th, in Rock Hill, South Carolina, and are a great opportunity to compete against the best prospects in the Carolinas and earn exposure in front of Prep Hoops Scouts! Take a look at five committed players to know for the 2025 Prep Hoops Hoops Carolinas Top 250 Expo:

[player_tooltip player_id='2367667' first='Joshua' last='JT Vankallen'] (Ridge View) - First up on the list of Names to Know for the 2025 Prep Hoops Carolinas Top 250 is [player_tooltip player_id='2367667' first='Joshua' last='JT Vankallen'], a regular at Prep Hoops Camps. He had an impressive showing last year in Rock Hill and is a Top 20 prospect in South Carolina's 2027 Class. JT is an explosive athlete with a good frame, production on the glass, and a quickly-developing jump shot.

[player_tooltip player_id='2786507' first='Gavin' last='Baskett'] (Fox Creek) - When asked about shooters in the 2027 class, Gavin is always one of the first players who comes to mind. There are few doubts that Baskett will have trouble fitting in in a camp situation, because whether he's playing Fox Creek HS or [program_tooltip program_id='2078724' first='Carolina' last='Pressure'], his role is always molded around his ability to knock down threes and provide spacing for his teammates to work.

[player_tooltip player_id='2149126' first='Charlie' last='Henson'] (River Bluff) - Henson is a lefty Guard who can play either position in the backcourt. Charlie can spot up away from the ball and knock down threes or run the offense and create off the dribble. He plays at a composed pace, rarely being sped up with the ball in his hands, while also having a good feel for finishing around bigger and more athletic players.

[player_tooltip player_id='2555248' first='Kiedis' last='Smith'] (Hilton Head Island) - Kiedis is an intriguing prospect who projects as a stretch forward down the line. Smith has good size for his age and has played both the 3 and the 4, depending on the game. He shot the ball well last year at the Prep Hoops Carolinas Freshman Showcase, but I would like to see another level of his scoring package this year at the Top 250 Expo.

[player_tooltip player_id='2194590' first='Wyatt' last='Dugger'] (Eastside) - Rounding out the list is another high-level shooter who has experience in Prep Hoops events, [player_tooltip player_id='2194590' first='Wyatt' last='Dugger']. His stock has risen since he made the cross-town transfer from Greenville to Eastside this Summer. Along with providing a punch on the perimeter, Dugger should be able to use his handle to get to the rim and athleticism to finish there next month in Rock Hill.
