The Sophomore ID Camp on September 7th is shaping up to be a can't miss event. This camp is the perfect stage to showcase how their games have developed over the summer and I'll be on site ready to dive deeper into their skillsets. If you want to see who might separate themselves and make a statement heading into the year, this is the group to keep your eyes on.

Use my code LopezHoops25 at checkout for $10 off registration. https://events.prephoops.com/e/1590/register/colorado-sophomore-id-camp

Bregard built off his strong freshman campaign where he averaged 7.8 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 4.9 assists over 29 games, by taking his game to another level this summer. He showed noticeable growth as a playmaker and became even more confident as a scorer. His ability to knock down shots, cut off the ball, and attack the lane with quickness stood out, making him tougher to defend in multiple ways. With that development Bregard looks poised to step into a bigger role this season. Potentially emerging as both a consistent offensive weapon and a reliable floor general who can control the game on both ends

Baker used the summer to build on his length and defensive presence, becoming even more effective at altering shots and controlling the glass. His timing and positioning have improved, allowing him to impact plays without needing the ball in his hands. With that growth, Baker looks ready to be a bigger defensive anchor this season while also turning his rebounding into more scoring chances. If he continues on this trajectory, he could become a difference maker around the rim on both ends of the floor

Hakeem took advantage of the summer to sharpen his all around game, using his length and size to become an even more versatile threat. He showed growth as a stretch option, knocking down shots from the perimeter, while still maintaining his ability to score inside with strength and touch. His improved driving ability adds another layer to his offensive arsenal, making him a tough matchup for defenders. Heading into the season Hakeem looks poised to be a key inside out scorer who can create mismatches and give his team consistent production in multiple areas

Phipps was able polish the finer details of his game this summer staying true to his offensive identity while expanding his defensive impact. He showed improved composure with the ball in his hands, creating space off the dribble and finding more ways to score from different spots on the floor. His scoring versatility stood out, whether finishing at the rim, pulling up in the midrange, or stretching the defense. With his dynamic offensive presence and the ability to lock in on defense, Phipps is positioned to take on a bigger role this season and be a real two way difference maker

Robinson had a huge summer and rounded out his game, showing he can impact both ends of the floor in more ways than ever. Offensively he became more consistent from three while also proving he can score at all levels, whether spotting up, cutting to the basket, or creating for others as a passer. Defensively his big frame and improved awareness make him a tougher matchup, giving him the ability to guard multiple positions. Heading into the season, Robinson looks ready to emerge as a versatile two way contributor who can stretch the floor, facilitate, and anchor on defense
