Freshman Showcase: Team 3 Evaluations

Here's some evaluations from team 3 of the freshman camp last week in Batavia. More content from the freshman and sophomore showcases will come later on.    Scott was one of the smallest players on the floor but should grow a lot in the near future.  He really stood out for his active hands and footwork on the defensive end. He forced lots of turnovers like who's and displayed great vision in the open floor to complement that     Nesbitt's a strong-bodied point guard who brings tons of energy to the floor. Commanded his teams offense with sharply passing and explosive moments with the ball. Showcases an excellent ability to score from long range and finis creatively near the basket.     Malual's got excellent strength for somebody his age. Which allowed him to be an effective rebounder and interior defender while covering his first game on Sunday.      Bell could grow into a stud in his class. He's a super lengthy combo out of Jacobs. Makes long strides with the basketball to make tough finishes inside look easy. Moves well-off the ball to get open, too. Strong rebounder on both ends. I covered his brother, Elijah, the day Prior     5'6" guard out of Northridge Prep and [program_tooltip program_id='2075481' first='Fundamental' last='U']. Tobin moves well off the ball which led to some open looks in a variety of spaces on the floor.     Potthast really stood out with his defense. A physical guard that really makes you work for it on-the ball. He also excelled at reading passes, which led to numerous steals and transition points the other way. Buried a corner 3-pointer at the buzzer of the opening game. But despite that, he showed great unselfishness throughout.
