<p>SAN DIEGO — St. Augustine high school played host to the 10th annual Creme of the County - the brain child of the one and only Aaron Burgin (FullTimeHoops) which brings together many of the best prospects in San Diego from seniors down to the eighth grade class. Below we detail the standout performers from the 2029 Select and 2030 Creme games. </p>

<h4 class="wp-block-heading">Dillon Rice | 2030 | Praxis Elite Sports Academy</h4>

<p>Rice's combination of physical and athletic tools set him apart from many of the other 8th grade prospects in the 2030 Creme Game. The 6-foot-2 guard/wing showcased impressive vertical athleticism and used his length to extend to the rim and score in transition.</p>

<h4 class="wp-block-heading">Kyle O'Connor | 2030 | Greenfield MS</h4>

<p>O'Connor flashed a high level scoring feel and was one of the better isolation creators in the 2030 Creme Game. The 5-foot-11 combo guard was creative with the ball in his hands, used a combination of spins, hesitations, and crafty finishing ability to be one of the better pure scorers </p>

<h4 class="wp-block-heading">Wyatt Williams | 2030 | La Jolla Country Day</h4>

<p>Williams was one of the more “traditional” forward type prospects who did most of his damage around the rim. His combination of size, soft hands and touch, understanding of angles and footwork allowed him to score on high percentage shots around the basket.</p>

<h4 class="wp-block-heading">Camden Hamilton | 2029 | Victory Christian</h4>

<p>Hamilton was the best basketball athlete in the 2029 Select Game and used it to his advantage as a transition slasher and finisher and straight-line driver in half-court situations. The 6-foot guard utilized his physical and athletic tools to power through contact and score at the rim.</p>

<h4 class="wp-block-heading">Ibrahim Habib | 2029 | Poway</h4>

<p>Habib was aggressive as a scorer from the jump and his combination of speed with the ball and savvy changes of speed and direction allowed him to get by the first line of defense with ease and score with craftiness around the basket. </p>

<h4 class="wp-block-heading">JoJo Elson | 2029 | Cathedral Catholic</h4>

<p>Elson is a smaller but savvy combo guard who started out the game as a distributor who made it a point to create for teammates and make the right plays. He used his speed with the ball to get a paint touch, played off of two feet in the lane, and shoveled off passes to bigs for easy layups. Elson picked up his scoring by knocking down open threes.</p>

<p>Okeke was one of the higher motor players in the 2029 Select Game and it resulted in him impacting the game as an offensive and defensive rebounder and transition slasher and scorer. The 5-foot-11 wing ran the floor with purpose in transition, generated extra possessions with his effort and energy and finished efficiently around the basket.</p>

<p>Burruss was a quick but smart decision-maker in transition offense. He pushed the pace with a high basketball IQ, unselfishness and purpose as he dished to rim-runners and open shooters for clean offensive looks. The 5-foot-8 point guard was also a savvy defender who used his quick hands to pressure ball handlers.</p>
