[player_tooltip player_id='1716474' first='Dionte' last='Neal'] (Reidsville)

Neal holds a number of in-state offers from LM/MM programs like Appalachian State, North Carolina A&T, High Point and UNC-Greensboro. It wouldn't be a surprise to see head coach Mike Jones and his UNC-Greensboro staff keep Neal within state lines but it shouldn't turn high major programs away. He's a back-to-back state champion on the hardwood and holds a state title on the football field while looking to do more damage at the point guard position. His 9.3 assists per game in 2024-25 ranked 11th nationally on MaxPreps. Look for his playmaking to lead the way for the Rams once again in 2025-26.

[player_tooltip player_id='1280878' first='Antonio' last='McKoy'] (Harrells Christian Academy)

McKoy has been a dominant presence in North Carolina for much of his grassroots and prep career. It's hard to believe it but he only holds offers from California, Albany, College of Charleston and Radford given his body of work. He was masterful on the hardwood this past season with the Crusaders while putting up 17 double-doubles to go with 25.8 points, 9.9 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 2.0 steals and 1.1 blocks per game as a junior. He's prime for a strong senior year coming off a 30-3 record and 10-0 conference outing in NCISAA action. High major programs need to key on in on him this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1361269' first='LJ' last='Rush'] (1 of 1 Academy)

It's hard to fathom Rush only holds offers from two HM programs in Florida State and Arizona State. He's arguably the most athletic lead guard in the 2026 class next to [player_tooltip player_id='1280933' first='Kobe' last='Edwards'] (Greenfield). He's a dynamic guard who does work on both ends of the floor to make his presence felt. He holds a number of MM suitors like East Carolina, Campbell and Stetson, but given his frame and experience on the national scene with the 1 of 1 program, he's due for a number of HM looks heading into 2025-26.

[player_tooltip player_id='1280980' first='Rivers' last='Knight'] (La Lumiere)

Knight has seen his recruitment cool since last summer hauled in offers from the likes of Virginia Tech, LSU, Illinois, Mississippi State, High Point and VCU. He should be a strong addition, though, to the La Lumiere rotation as they look to take a step on the EYBL Scholastic stage. He'll be one of a few newcomers on their roster for college programs to look forward to heading into the new season. Given his abilities at the stretch-forward position at 6-foot-9, look for Knight to turn heads with his development and skill set.

[player_tooltip player_id='1672428' first='Logan' last='Johnson'] (Carmel Christian)

Johnson is another prospect who could be a major haul for an in-state college program. He's seen his stock rise slightly this past grassroots cycle with offers from UNC-Asheville, La Salle and Towson. He's a 6-foot-5 wingman who's shown he can get after it getting downhill and making things happen as a playmaker. Look for him to be a key piece in the Carmel Christian rotation as a new face in 2025-26.
