We're about a month out from the Sophomore ID Camp at Gold Crown on Sunday, September 7th. This is your chance to test yourself against 2028 talent from across the state as we all head out under one roof. I will be on-site to evaluate how your game translates in a showcase setting and get an early read heading into the season. Rankings will be updated shortly after, using this as a key baseline. He's tough in the post with footwork, touch, and a reliable mid-range game, plus he can step out and hit the three. His point-forward versatility, timing, and floor-spacing ability give him unique value. We want to see him at the showcase against other top sophomores to see how his inside-out game holds up against size and speed. This is his stage to prove he belongs in the conversation.     At 6'3, Nelson runs the floor, protects the paint, and finishes with rebounding and putback opportunities. He was the only freshman on varsity, gaining valuable experience after dominating JV. He can guard multiple spots, rebound, and disrupt inside, but now it's about bringing that same aggressiveness to the varsity level. The showcase is the perfect place to see how much his game has grown and if he can assert himself against other big, skilled guards in his class.     Pino is electric in the open court, using quickness and ball-handling to create easy buckets in transition. He attacks the rim fearlessly, finishes through contact, and finds teammates for open looks. His leadership, energy, and willingness to do what is asked of him in different situations makes him a player worth watching. We have seen him as the playmaker, defender, set-up guy, and hustle player. That's versatility. We want to see him at the showcase pushing the pace, breaking down defenses, and showing he can be one of the toughest guards to contain in this class.     Fedorczyk's game thrives around the basket. He protects the rim, finishes plays, and uses his size to create a presence inside. He defends without fouling, runs the floor, and brings physicality in the paint. Now stepping into a bigger varsity role, the showcase will give us a chance to see if he can anchor the interior against other top post players in the class. This is where he can show he's ready for that next step.     Robinson is one of the hardest workers and toughest players in the class, and has been a catalyst on one of the state's top 2028 AAU squads. He spaces the floor with his 3-ball, finishes in transition, and sets the tone defensively. His all-around impact and motor make him dangerous and this year he will be able to show all of that I believe. Him getting out to the showcase makes sense as it is a perfect platform for him to be himself. He can leap from the watch list into the rankings with a performance that shows his skill matches his effort, and we feel that he's one who should surely be there.
